@SFBallet returned to @JacobsPillow for the first time since 1956, lighting up the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage and the Ted Shawn Theatre with a program blending exquisite classical technique and innovative choreographic visions. 🩰✨

Earlier this month, Resnicow’s @EmmaSGold traveled to the Berkshires with the company to experience its week-long residency at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival:

“Tucked away in the small town of Becket, MA, Jacob’s Pillow is a dance lover’s haven, and where the legendary San Francisco Ballet made its East Coast debut 70 years ago. Witnessing their return—and the audience’s excitement—under the direction of Artistic Director Tamara Rojo was pure magic, with breathtaking pas de deux set against a mountainous vista and powerful ensemble works that transformed the historic, wood-clad Ted Shawn Theatre.”

To round out the festival, @RojoTamara participated in a public talk with Jacob’s Pillow’s scholar-in-residence about her experience as an artistic director and how SF Ballet is shaping the future of the industry.
