WILD PERMISSION // To reflect on it is to admit that it's over, which is a difficult thing to do.
.
With all my learning lately focusing on my PhD, I had started to feel my yoga teaching needing a bit of love. As happens with the passage of time, cues and sequences and goals that once felt fresh, motivating and exciting started to lose their glamour. So when @davidkam messaged to ask if I'd be interested in joining his @wild.permission retreat I knew it was the right place and the right time.
.
To be part of a group of colleagues for whom I have buckets of respect. To move with a freedom that was reciprocated and amplified by the beautiful attendees. To be inspired by the journeys, curiosities and histories of the collective. To be held instead of to hold. To receive and indulge in theory and movement and praxis. All of this was sorely needed, gratefully received and not quickly forgotten.
.
So thank you to Wild Permission 2026. Thank you to the beautiful bodies, minds and souls who shaped the experience. Thank you to Carmel (@the.hemp.chef) for the calming presence and delicious food I still need to get recipes off you for. Thank you to Fabio (@fabsedits) for capturing these memories for us. And thank you to David, who has inspired me in a multitude of ways since we met at Sunday School Yoga ten years ago (already?!). I am moved in so many ways.
.
And so we move.

Qigong to Yin: Fallen Leaves Return to Roots 🍂
A workshop with Emma Tian Williamson this Saturday 3 October, 2-4pm at Yogahome

An autumn workshop combining qigong and yin yoga to help you slow down, let go and settle into the season. It's inspired by the Chinese proverb 落叶归根 (luò yè guī gēn), "fallen leaves return to their roots", and the Daoist idea of living in harmony with nature's cycles. The first half is qigong, moving through autumn's Metal Element forms to practise releasing and yielding. The second half is yin yoga, with long, soft holds that nourish the lung and large intestine meridians. You leave feeling rested, spacious and more connected to yourself and the season.

Book via the link in bio.

Moments from Ibiza summer mornings and evenings in the yoga dome.

Always inspired by the women who follow their curiosity and make space for experiences that shift something within, igniting a more heart-led life. One that feels more connected and alive. 🐦‍🔥

This feels like legacy work.

A love letter to teaching as a creative practice.
Movement as a modality for expression.
Yoga as the philosophical anchor.
Care as our shared language.

And a love letter to the relationships that have shaped me: long-time students, peers, collaborators and kindred souls within my orbit.

@wild.permission returned for its second iteration — a sincere invitation to co-create a space for reciprocal knowledge exchange, grounded in the teaching framework I’ve cultivated over the past decade.

It was a real privilege to hold movers and teachers in this capacity and witness a collective daydreaming of what practice, teaching, rest and play could become.

Until now, Wild Permission has grown through private invitation. Next year, I may open the circle a little wider.

If you feel curious about joining the next iteration, drop me a message.
