I have been dancing on and off since I was a kid. My dance teachers never believed in me and always put me down. I had no confidence doing numbers and would always place myself at the back because that’s where I felt I belonged. Having ADHD, it’s difficult for me to process information which means I do find it difficult learning choreography but nobody ever had the patience to keep going through routines with me until I got it right. Then I found Beth. I started dancing with Beth in January this year and let me tell you, the way this girl has brought the very best version of myself out…

Her patience, understanding, kindness, humour, professionalism…I will honestly say she has made me the dancer I am today. The dancer I always strived to be and the dancer who pushes herself because she FINALLY knows she’s capable and worthy of sharing that space with others. Having a teacher who believes in not just me, but every single person they teach is truly a gift, and I’m so grateful for every second. I know it’s just gonna keep getting better and I cannot wait to create more memories and keep learning, growing and flourishing as a dancer. We all share a love and passion for the same thing, and the support we all give each other is so beautiful. I’ve met the best people since January and I’m so blessed.

@empowerwithbeth I adore you girl. Thank you so much. 🖤

When I booked onto my first open level contemporary workshop at the last minute, I went in with an open mind and no expectations of myself, other than to embrace the challenge, explore a style of dance I'm less familiar with, and soak up the opportunity to learn from the incredible @milliemoves_dance ✨️💕

Little did I know I'd end up doing my first contemporary SOLO and absolutely LOVING every second of it!! 🤯🥳

Was it perfect? Nope! Did it need to be? Not for a second! As evidenced by my scream at the end… pure, unfiltered, childlike JOY! 😂 💕

Millie, your creativity, passion and sheer talent are something else. Thank you for challenging us, pushing us into that beautiful stretch zone where the magic happens, and making the whole experience so utterly EXHILARATING! 🥹 💕

In true @empowerdance_ style, you reminded us that no two dancers are the same. Different strengths, different journeys… but always that same overwhelming sense of encouragement, acceptance and support. Whether it's through the loudest cheers or the quietest moments, this beautiful community never ceases to amaze me! 🫶

Still buzzing, grinning from ear to ear and reminded why I LOVE to dance ✨❤️

Thank you so so much @milliemoves_dance for this spooky routine 👻. My favourite so far I have to say! The first time since @thepowerofheels that I’ve really felt a song and thrown myself in like this with feeling 👀What a great way to spend a Saturday morning 🤭.
