Pregnant in San Antonio? Come take a peek inside the new Birth Center of San Antonio.

I got to tour the space today, and I’m so excited to share it with you. Along with the birth center, Empowered Chiropractic, Amazing Baby 3D Ultrasound, and Rooted Birth now have offices here, bringing several local pregnancy and birth resources together under one roof.

As a mom and motherhood photographer, I love getting to know the people and places supporting families in our community. Preparing for a baby involves so much more than a nursery checklist, and knowing what’s available locally is a helpful place to start.

September 14–18, we’re opening our doors for a whole week of connection, community, and a whole lot of fun. 🥰

We’ve got something different planned every day including mom meetups, babywearing, sweet treats, bump & baby photos, a birth worker spelling bee, and an opportunity to meet with the people who serve our birth center clients and families all over San Antonio.
And yes, every event is happening right here at the Birth Center of San Antonio! Whether you’re a current client, past client, local mom, birth worker, or just curious about what we’re all about, you’re invited!

We had the incredible opportunity to help kick off World Breastfeeding Week 2026 at Latch On San Antonio, Saturday, Aug. 1.

@latchonsatx is hosted by a few small businesses and providers in San Antonio and they have created a beautiful event and space for families in our community. Thank you to each of you for the time, energy and heart you pour into your work in the perinatal space and in this event each year!

Method Wellness and Physical Therapy exists to serve the members of our community and improve lives by helping individuals reach their optimal health and wellness. This was our first time attending this event, and we had the best time meeting, connecting and reconnecting with the families who attended and the room of professionals and small businesses sharing the space.

We hope you will join us this week in celebrating breastfeeding and the journey that involves. This years theme is “Breastfeeding for a sustainable start in life: strengthen what works.” The intent is to shift the focus from simply identifying problems to scaling up proven, real-world solutions that support breastfeeding in all populations. That support and awareness starts at the local level. Thank you @latchonsatx

The most meaningful rewards often come after many sacrifices, hard work, trial and error. This year’s @latchonsatx was a huge success thanks to these beautiful women I get to work with: @rootedbirthsatx @nurturemassage @empoweredchiropractic 🤍We pour countless hours into this event not because anyone asks us to, but because we believe in it with our whole hearts. Bringing our community together, helping small businesses connect with local families, and creating something meaningful for moms is exactly why we do what we do. It’s a labor of love, and we hope you can feel that when you attend Latch On. We appreciate your support more than you know!!!

If you didn’t know, I’ve had the honor of creating the balloon installations for Latch On over the last few years, and it’s been such a fun tradition. 🎈
Since slowing down my event planning and balloon business to focus on midwifery school, opportunities like this have been extra special to me. I love being able to blend my creativity with my passion for birth work and use those gifts to serve my community. It truly is the best of both worlds. 🤍

This year, I also had the joy of introducing my new line of handcrafted, small-batch organic herbal care products. 🌿 I’ve been working on this for a couple of years now and I’m so happy to finally share this dream with you all.

Each product is thoughtfully crafted to support pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and newborn care, but they’re also wonderful for the whole family and for women in every stage of life, not just pregnancy and breastfeeding.

To everyone who stopped by and purchased something from me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means more than I can put into words, and I’m so grateful that you chose to support this dream of mine. 🥹💚

Lastly, a huge thank you to my mom for always being the first one to help me and show up for me!!!! She’s the reason I’ll never stop… because nothing ever slowed her down and she’s the strongest person I know. ❤️

So many reasons to be grateful and full of JOY as we step into August— my birthday month! 🥳

It takes a village… and sometimes that village gets together to pack swag bags. 💛

A few of our vendors recently spent the evening meeting one another, sharing laughs, and helping prepare swag bags for the first 75 families who attend Latch On.

This is one of our favorite parts of planning the event. Watching local businesses and organizations connect with each other reminds us that we’re all here for the same reason—to support families.

These aren’t all of the vendors you’ll see on Saturday, just the ones who were able to join us that evening. And if this small group is any indication, you’re in for something special.

🎉 The first 75 families through the doors will receive a free swag bag filled with goodies, resources, and special offers from many of our vendors.

We’re looking for volunteers! 💛

Latch On San Antonio is coming up on August 1, and we need a few extra hands to help bring the day to life! From setup and welcoming vendors to helping throughout the event, welcoming families and cleanup, there are several ways to get involved.

Volunteer shifts are just 1.5 hours, so you can lend a hand and still enjoy the event!

✨ Local business owners and professionals: Commit to at least 1.5 hours of volunteer time and, as a thank you, we’ll highlight your business on our Instagram and include you in our post-event email to attendees.
