Have you ever taken a step back and looked at how some of life’s hardest moments have impacted your health?

When we are in survival mode the brain becomes overwhelmed and overlooks extra life stuff to focus on just getting through the day to day.

This means if health, fitness and nutrition isn’t a solid habit you’ve had engrained for years … those things likely fall by the wayside. They can fall by the wayside EVEN if we’ve had a routine for years in fact.

But sometimes our health is the very thing that keeps us going. When that falls apart our nervous system becomes more hypervigilant.

So many women come to me after experiencing hardship. They blame themselves for not being “fit”, for not following through. The shame shows up as self-sabotage, depression, fatigue… they punish themselves with exercise or extreme caloric restriction. We develop coping skills that only wear us down further.

This is why Therapy is crucial. It’s also why working on your health with a trauma informed coach can make a world of difference.

Restore your health
Reclaim your voice
Cultivate strength
Find agency
Live empowered

That is the goal of our program. If you have been struggling and are barely staying afloat, or no longer recognize the woman you see staring back at you in the mirror.

Reach out! DM ‘support’ and let’s talk about the ways the hard things you’ve gone through have impacted your health and get you a few steps to start rebuilding.

Did you know that replacing calorie restriction with adequate fueling and the right training program can help you become a stronger athlete without sacrificing your health?🤯

You don’t have to choose between performance and feeling confident in your body.

Coming in hot with the big witch energy for October 1.

We had a fun class tonight! The ladies were dancing around, crushing Prs and summoning female rage into power. Pretty sweet if you ask me!

𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄…

Disordered eating impacts 83% 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀, yet only about 22% 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 for it.

The most wild thing about disordered eating is that it’s embedded into so much of popular fitness and wellness culture.

What starts as a woman’s attempt to “be healthy” and “get in shape” can slowly spiral into anxiety around food, fear of her body changing, and rules she feels keep her safe — but in reality, keep her 𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱.

Because all of this is so normalized, mixed with the pervasive messaging we receive from society that biases thin and fit bodies, we start to believe 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 and justify the disordered eating.

But when this goes on long enough, we start to lose our energy, health, confidence, and self-worth.

We fade into a version of ourselves we no longer recognize in the mirror.

Anxiety and depression can increase… and time passes us by.

And if left unchecked, we can accumulate long-term consequences — decreased bone mineral density, increased risk of injury, constipation, gut dysbiosis, mental health decline, and more.

I’ve helped 1,500+ 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 break free from food anxiety, unhealthy exercise relationships, and low confidence so they can find healing, strength, and deep health.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.

DM "𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛" and let’s talk about how we can help you rebuild your relationship with food, movement, and your body — without fear, restriction, or punishment. 🫶

Meet Alana 👋

A coach who believes fitness should help you feel 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲—not leave you feeling burnt out.

Whether you’re stepping into the gym for the first time, training for a marathon, or working toward your next big goal, Alana meets you where you are and builds from there.

Her approach? Individualized programming, effective workouts, plenty of support, and making fitness something you actually enjoy. 💪

And when she’s not coaching, she’s working in healthcare management, golfing, or getting outside for a hike. ⛳️🥾

We’re so grateful to have you on the Empowered RX team, Alana! 🤍

Drop a 👋 below to welcome Alana to the community!
