Local elected officials, including Bel Air Mayor Paula Etting, and representatives of local community organizations recently served as celebrity grocery baggers during the annual Help Bag Hunger event at the Klein's ShopRite supermarket in the Festival at Bel Air shopping center.

Officials with parent company Klein's Family Markets presented an oversized check representing the company's $90,000 contribution to the Maryland Food Bank during the event on Friday, October 2.

Klein's also donated a percentage of gross receipts from its six stores in Harford County on Friday to the Empty Stocking Fund of Harford County.

Thank you to everyone who served as a celebrity bagger!

We have a long tradition of supporting students and educators in metro Atlanta, home to our global headquarters.

Continuing that commitment, we partnered with Empty Stocking Fund to support its Teacher Resource Center through financial support from the Newell Brands Charitable Foundation and a full truckload of product — 41 pallets and more than 80,000 items from brands including Sharpie®, Paper Mate® and Elmer’s®.

Since August, 1,000 teachers from 347 schools have accessed more than $310,000 worth of classroom supplies, and another 1,600 teachers are scheduled through the first week of October. All 2,600 available appointments filled within an hour of opening.

By partnering with Empty Stocking Fund, we can help put classroom supplies directly into the hands of local teachers who need them.

We’re proud to help Georgia educators and students start the school year strong.

Hey Metro ATL teachers, do you need $500 for classroom essentials? RUN to the @emptystocking fund! 🎉
•
As educators, it’s challenging to cover classroom supplies out of our own pockets. Creating an Amazon wishlist and hoping for donations is tough. When my friends shared videos about The Empty Stocking Fund, I knew I had to swing by!

Feeling incredibly blessed to drive away with an SUV packed to the brim! ✨

Come with me to do some school supply shopping for my students! 📓📚✏️
•
One thing about it and two things for sure, I never cared about people that questioned why I provide school supplies for my students. But if you’re one of those people, the answer is, I DO IT BECAUSE I CARE. And as I prepare to gear up for another school year, I want my students to be welcomed into a space that is inviting and conducive for their learning. SHOUTOUT TO @bicpensusa and @emptystocking for providing supplies and bookbags with supplies. You all always show up for the teachers. 😊❤️

Happy #SocialMediaGivingDay! 🌎🧡

Social media has the power to do more than connect us—it can raise awareness, inspire action, and strengthen communities.

At Clementine Creative, that’s what our Be Kind initiative is all about. Over the years, our team has had the opportunity to volunteer with incredible local organizations and give back to the Metro Atlanta community. Today, we’re looking back at some of those meaningful moments.

We’re grateful to every organization that has welcomed us over the years. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your mission. Here’s to using social media to inspire kindness, give back, and make a positive impact in our communities!
