This may be the best feeling in the world. I’m bringing IMA home šŸ‡®šŸ‡±

For a year and a half, I’ve been carrying their stories and it’s time to go back to Israel where it all began.

Where it will go from here, I can only dream. Then again every dream, every vision, every quiet thought I had about what this film could become has come true.

So I’m going to keep dreaming for my Mothers, for their voices, and for their truth.

Last night, IMA arrived…and I’m still floating.

Thank you to everyone who came to our special screening. To look out into that theatre and see so many people there to support this film, these mothers, and the extraordinary team who helped bring their stories to the screen meant more to me than I can possibly put into words.

A very special thank you to one of our beautiful IMAs @hannie_ricardo, who made the journey from Israel to be there.

The truth is not complicated and the rest of the world needs to hear it because beneath the politics, the noise and everything that tries to divide us, there is something profoundly human that still connects us.

A mother’s voice. A mother’s grief. A mother’s love.

Tel Aviv ~

Finally bringing IMA home to Israel. Where it belongs.

Israel is where IMA was born, where the inspiration behind it lives, and where the extraordinary mothers at the heart of this documentary opened their lives to me.

It will be extra meaningful to have @spibri85 @barzel.media moderating the Q&A with me

In a world that feels increasingly out of control, one truth remains…

A mother’s love will never surrender.

Today I am incredibly proud to share the trailer for IMA.

These are the mothers who lived the unthinkable, endured unimaginable heartbreak, and somehow found the courage to keep rising.

Their stories transcend borders and hold something the world desperately needs right now. It is a bridge across our deepest divides and a reminder of the humanity we still share.

IMA coming soon

To my friends @jkimelman15 @awilderparty @nparness33 @elisesieradzki @ilana_mazur @emshoy thank you šŸ’™

You opened your home, gave your time, planned every detail, invited people in, ordered and made food and made me feel so loved. It wasn’t just a party. It was an act of friendship, and I will never take that for granted.

And to everyone who came by, even for a few minutes, to hug me, see me, wish me well, write me beautiful cards, and send me off with love — thank you. That kind of love does not pass through you lightly.

I also want to mention three people I deeply admire and respect — @stevendelduca @laurasmithmpp and @slecce -not because their presence mattered more than anyone else’s, but because I know how full their days are. And still, they made time to come by— not for anything official, not for a program, not for a photo, but simply to say goodbye to me. That meant a lot.

There was no agenda in it. Just decency, kindness, and the kind of leadership that remembers people first. In today’s climate, that matters.

And because it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t turn even a gratitude post into a call to action: Mayor @stevendelduca is running for re-election, and when the time comes, Vaughan friends — please show up and vote for him. You will be helping not just the community but yourself.

I am very grateful to you all 😘
