Where is time going so fast!! Looking back on the last two months...and realizing all that has happened, people that have crossed my path...wowzers!! (ps. Not sure if that is a formal word😂, but it is an expression of my excitement) . . During all the trainings where I teach, my own YACEP program or for another school leading their 200hrs or 300hrs program, I always apply it into practicality and experiencing. I let students try things out so they become active learners and finding their own way in to how eventually they will be teaching. . . Gratitude for last week @thearthlinks , the people, the animals and the food-fairy. I love these residential weeks, where we can learn so much FROM each other and WITH each other💞🏄🏼‍♀️🇱🇰🧘🏽‍♀️ . . Yoga isn’t a handstand! We often hear people say "I’m not flexible for Yoga" or "I’m not very good at Yoga"... I want you to know that Yoga isn’t a magic pose or a funky back bend - yes these are fun, and I believe in fun, but Yoga is a practice; a practice of finding your inner chimp, a way of making all the noise quiet, and finding focus and peace in your thoughts. By using breathing techniques and postures, Yoga will help you find just that. Helping you through those challenging days and hard times, reminding you that life is a journey - good and bad - and helping you to find gratitude in the darkness. So this is me! Mr Luna & Wolf, Worried about all your opinions and scared about judgment. I sit here and welcome you to be vulnerable to try something new, not for anyone else, not for your ego, but for your mind and body. I challenge you to stop running away, stop hiding from your problems, and face them directly. We have all been in that dark place and we have all had our demons to fight. I opened this Yoga studio for each and every one of you. I opened this studio for the parent at home, stressed with their children, needing some space and time for themselves. I opened the studio for the 9-5 workers with a bad back and anxiety for when the next pay check is coming, for the student who has the stress of studying whilst balancing being different in a world telling you you're not normal, for the single people worried they haven’t found love yet, who need to learn how to love themselves all over again. For the anxious guy that feels the pressure of not being allowed to show his emotions and to 'be a man' as they say, for the girl who thinks she isn’t enough because of social media’s demands on how we should look and be, for the retired couple that miss the freedom of expression, for the office worker that needs to find some stillness away from their stressful job, for the over-active person who needs to silence the noise in their head - this studio is for you all. No more resistance, nor more suffering in silence - we are a #Wolfpack and together we are stronger. You are loved!
