When we rebranded @tudyskitchen, we started with strategy, not design. Every decision came out of that, right down to the colour. We picked the red to stand out in a freezer aisle. Then Nekeia told us what it reminded her of. Some things you can’t plan into a brand. You do the work properly and see what surfaces. This was one of those. It takes a village ❤️🖤💚 ✨ Meet the committee behind our unforgettable event — a dedicated group of volunteers bringing together backgrounds in tech, marketing, event design, production, PR and communications, product design, entertainment, writing, hospitality, and business development. 🙌🏾 What started as the idea for a small community gathering grew into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. And the excitement we felt every step of the way made it impossible not to dream bigger. 🎉We set out to honor the history of Black liberation and build a living, breathing community in this city, and seeing the joy on everyone’s faces made every second worth it ❤️ To our incredible community, our beautiful vendors, our caterer, our sponsors, collaborators, volunteers and everyone who danced with us: THANK YOU.

🫶🏾 And thank you to @rootsgastroclub, an amazing Black-owned space, for welcoming us and hosting this celebration in your home.

⚡️We couldn’t have made history without you! 📸 Capturing the magic perfectly: @photobylaurelle 🔗 Learn more about the project, the committee, our contributors and how to collaborate or sponsor future gatherings at juneteenth.es —— Catalan y Castellano en comentarios

“Because visibility shapes destiny.” 2025 reminded us why KCLAB MEDIA exists. Platforms still centre Eurocentric narratives, making culturally rich Black, Mixed & POC stories less visible, less supported, and less celebrated. So we created a home for our stories: ✨ real creators succeeding ✨ founders sharing truth ✨ culturally rooted storytelling ✨ visibility that inspires visibility And the impact? 📈 49,000+ views in October 💛 4 powerful black women founder interviews A whole community reflecting back: “If they can be visible, so can I.” In 2026, we continue. More stories. More representation. More BMPOC creators becoming unforgettable. #KCLABMedia #RepresentationMatters #Visibility #Inspiration

✨ NEW KCLAB COFFEE EPISODE — PART 1✨ Today, we’re celebrating a story rooted in culture, legacy, and the kind of Black woman brilliance that feels like home. At KCLAB®, we sat down with Nekeia Boone @enbee_nl founder of @tudyskitchen to explore how food, family, and identity can become a purpose-driven brand that feeds both the community and the spirit. If you’re a Black woman entrepreneur, a Mixed creative, or someone building something with meaning — this one will speak to you deeply. 🤎 WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE — PART 1 🌱 Roots, Culture & Representation • How Nekeia’s upbringing shaped Tudy’s Kitchen • The moment she realised her cooking wasn’t just food — it was story, identity & representation • The flavours, memories and traditions that built her purpose 🚀 The Journey of a Black Woman Entrepreneur • The personal work that shaped her into the founder she is today • The real wins, challenges and identity shifts behind a Black-owned food brand • How mentors & community grounded her • A key turning point that changed everything • A powerful story of resilience and faith • Her closing truth — the message guiding her whole journey 🤎 WHY THIS STORY MATTERS Representation isn’t optional — it’s essential. Tudy’s Kitchen is more than a food brand. It’s cultural storytelling. It’s entrepreneurship. It’s identity work. And this is exactly why we created KCLAB Coffees — to spotlight Black, Mixed & POC creators and entrepreneurs across Europe who are building with purpose, joy, and legacy. 🎥 Watch Part 1 now on YouTube.
