Last Saturday, Enea Outside In welcomed a full house for The World of Geoffrey Bawa, a Panel Talk & Networking Apéritif as part of @zurichdesignweeks. Together with the guests, we explored Bawa’s philosophy of “seamless living”—the art of dissolving the boundaries between landscape, architecture, and interior spaces.

A diverse mix of furniture, objects, materials, and craftsmanship took shape across @zurichdesignweeks 2026. This selection brings together intriguing finds ranging from a sculptural bed and expressive paper art to upcycled furniture, recycled-plastic objects, textiles, and outdoor design.

1. Doña Rosa by Andres Fravi
A sculptural lamp that transforms a watering can, turned baluster, and table base into a single pink figure, playfully reimagining familiar objects through upcycling. @andresfravi

2. Icarus by Linteloo
A sculptural seating design by Sebastian Herkner, combining a strong architectural form with wing-like curves and precisely tailored upholstery for an embracing feel. @linteloo

3. The Bentota Lounge Chair by Geoffrey Bawa
A relaxed lounge chair inspired by the traditional verandah armchair, with an open silhouette and distinctive turned braces, re-edited by Phantom Hands for contemporary comfort. @eneaoutsidein

4. Répertoire de formes by Studio Marianne Guély
A collection of sculptural paper forms exploring shape, texture, and the expressive possibilities of paper art. @studio.marianneguely

5. Plume by Victoire Equine & Emma Landauer
A minimalist bed featuring two oversized cushion headboards, inspired by the relaxed forms of 1960s beanbags and offered in three colourways. @elitebeds

6. Alma by Plastic Studio
A lounge chair made from locally recycled plastic waste, transforming discarded materials such as expired medical masks into durable furniture through circular design. @plasticstudio.ch

7. THEA KUTA & GRRRR
A handcrafted bathroom carpet collection inspired by the spontaneous traces of intimate moments, turning scattered clothing and everyday bathroom scenes into playful textile forms. @theakuta_

Yesterday at @eneaoutsidein for @zurichdesignweeks , exploring the world of Geoffrey Bawa.

Bawa was a Sri Lankan architect whose work brought buildings, interiors and landscape into one continuous experience. As an architect, I’m drawn to the way his spaces are shaped by light, views and the transition between inside and outside.

The panel brought together Alessandro Marchesi of @eneaoutsidein, @mateokries of @vitradesignmuseum, @channadas of @geoffreybawatrust and Deepak Srinath of @phantomhands. It was fascinating to hear their different perspectives on why Bawa’s work still feels relevant today.

I also got to see the Swiss premiere of the Geoffrey Bawa Furniture Collection by @phantomhands , then spent some time exploring Enea Outside In for the first time. A beautiful showroom to discover in Zurich.

🟩 Out of Matter – @basalto.collective × @ferus.social × @maanastudios

#EXHIBITION OUT OF MATTER is an activation by FERUS, Basalto Collective, and MAANA STUDIOS exploring the intersection of hospitality, design, and craftsmanship. The project reflects on how design, craft, and food all begin with raw materials. Woven textiles, handcrafted furniture, stone objects, and contemporary cuisine come together through a shared appreciation for materiality and a design language rooted in Mexican heritage.

A preview of some of the new furniture we have working on.
We are delighted to be a part of @enealandscapearchitecture installation at Art Basel 2026, starting this coming week.
For this occasion, we have created thirty charred pieces of furniture that will be placed throughout the Courtyard (Rundhof) in Hall 2 within Enea's installation The Living Fragment: Enea Tree Museum at @artbasel.
