As someone who hates today's format of Awards because they are more of "Popularity Contests," THIS was SPECIAL for me.

Special because it was the work, not social media popularity, that got me in the room.

I'm grateful, most importantly to GOD ALMIGHTY, for the gift He blessed me with, for the opportunity to use it and the people He put in my life, through whom I'm able to share this gift. BABA, YOU TOO MUCH! 🙌🙌🙌

I'm grateful for the SpeakUp Africa Competition that gave me the chance to enter and for the people who pushed for it. @seunshobo @aemie44 I HAIL ooo

I'm grateful for @societyvoicearts and especially for @joanthevoice and @rudygaskins1 for the incredible work of highlighting and elevating the works of Voice Actors and Voice-Over practitioners Worldwide. As my indigenous people would say, "DAALỤ RINNE!" (Thank you so much!)

Special SHOUT OUT to My People who pushed me until I participated, who believe i was worthy of having 'SOVAS Award Winner' attached to my name and years given for the industry: @unuakhepatience (My Ride or Die) @eni.k (she pushed me ehhhh) @chiomabbb @tcode_70 @olutimayinremi @chilulemba @dmitri_ladoski @onochie_emeka @oma_the_storyteller My hands dey UP!

The SOVAS Voice Arts Awards may have happened in January, but its impact is etched in the Sands of Time.

I WILL KEEPING FIGHTING to keep the Industry moving forward in Nigeria, and Africa as a whole.

This is my Voice Arts Story!

What's Yours?
