This is my entry for the 'Contradicting Creativity' collab (my very first collab btw😎) hosted by the wonderful @junk_pages. The prompt was to express an oxymoron or a parodoxical idea.

I decided to show a barren tree in the day and a fully lush tree in the night, giving it some serious nyctophillic vibes. The deep interpretation of this spread is left to you🌴
And I found the quote by Brene Brown to be very fitting.

Btw, this is the very first spread in my new journal(you can call her Norah) and this is also my very first time using gouache paints😎(so many firsts for this post)

Also please do swipe to check out and show some love to the works of other amazing artists💜💜

Life Vs Death. 🍃🍂
Life asked Death ~ “Why do people love me but hate you? “
Death responded ~ “Because you are a beautiful lie and I am a painful truth.”

7.20.20 // two posts in one day 👀👀 here's another collab hosted by @junk_pages ! The theme was to create something that represented two contradicting concepts so I did something that kind of represents how shy and quiet people aren't actually silent. I used the quote "quiet people have the loudest minds" by Stephen King and I really relate to it. I am a pretty shy and introverted person so I don't often talk much around people I'm not comfortable with. I'm always self conscious about how quiet I am and I'm always scared people think I don't have anything interesting going on in my head just because I don't say anything. My shyness is something that I'm working on but I just wanted to make a spread to remind people that just because someone doesn't say much, it doesn't mean they are boring or uninteresting. You just have to work a little harder to get to the excitement in their heads ❤️❤️

Swipe to see the artwork from all the other wonderful artists! And thank yiu to @junk_pages for hosting and coming up with such a creative topic

Stereotypes.
Men and women. Different genders. Different issues. But we know both of then have their own problems.
Men don't cry. They are supposed to hold strong and take responsibilty. If a man breaks, is he even a man?
Women can't earn. They are supposed to take care of the house and children. If a woman's dream doesn't crash, is she even a woman?
We have all wanted to get rid of these thoughts and fight against them, but why do we care about the society when we are the society?
Why do we care about who's weak and who's strong when we all want the same thing?

I've always had this enormous urge to travel; to get lost amidst strange meadows, sandy shores and steep hill tops, and to never return. I have been to a couple of places and everytime, without an exception, felt more alive while looking out into the horizon via the plane window. It's not about the place. It's not even about the kind of hotel I stay in or how fancy the cuisine is. Sure those help, but it's much more about feeding my soul the air of a new place it so desperately craves for. Both @__bunnybear__ and I do intend to make travelling a priority in the near future and to follow through with it. Guess I'm just lucky to have found a partner whose soul craves for the same does of travelling that mine does.
I've tried to capture my passion for travelling in these paintings. They are meant to be a representation of the love I have for travelling. I do hope you all enjoy it. Please consider liking if you do. It motivates me to do better and keeps me going. Love❤️ Here's my entry for the GROUP COLLAB 💙

Theme : Primary Colors

It's not just about Periods. It's about a lot of changes that we go through.
And it's fine. But if we are stigmatised for it, it's not.
We want you to understand that there is no connection with periods and white tights. No connection between periods and taking a leave. No connection between periods and staying away from holy places. Period.
