Ashley Brett Chipman brought her own creative process to Miami for the Juggerknot Workshop Series, teaching the exact same practice she used to build Death of Rasputin 🔥

As Creator and Co-Director of the show, Ashley developed a visual worldbuilding method from the inside out. She guided participants at The Bass Museum of Art to do the same, through creating a mood board, color story, soundtrack, and the beginning of a world bible.

We are so grateful for all the knowledge she shared with us 🌴

Hope Youngblood knows what it takes to build a world that an audience can truly inhabit, and she just spent a weekend in Miami teaching exactly that!

As Co-Director of Death of Rasputin and a decade-long member of Punchdrunk’s directing leadership on Sleep No More, Hope brought her practice of Invisible Architecture of Immersive Design to The Bass Museum of Art as part of the Juggerknot Immersive Workshop Series.

We are so grateful she made the trip down, and so proud of every artist who showed up and dove in this weekend. 🔥🌴

Here is a look back at our first Workshop Series session at The Bass Museum of Art.

Kelly Bartnik, of Artemis Is Burning and producer of Death of Rasputin, opens up about her own path into immersive theatre. She dove into her approach to movement and devising with our group, and got into why she loves building work with performers who aren’t trained dancers.

More workshops are on the way. Stay tuned!

🎬 BEHIND THE SCENES | 1 of 4

A glimpse behind the scenes of Cinco y Sueños as we stepped inside the Hernández home, the heart 💗 of Camilo, Ana, Lucía, and Danny’s world.

Between takes, camera setups, rehearsals, and all the moments in between, this home became so much more than a location. It became a space where the Hernández family began to take shape and where so much of the heart of our story lives.

Here’s a little look at the people and process behind bringing that world to life.
