Strength & Rhythm: A Community Wellness Event 💜

Swipe through for a glimpse of the joy, movement, and sunshine from our Strength & Rhythm community wellness event on July 24th! Thank you to everyone who came out and showed up for yourselves and for each other. The energy in that room was unmatched.

This event was truly a collective effort, and it would not have been possible without:

🌍 House of Afro — for bringing the high-energy Naija-featured Afro dance workout that had the whole room moving as one

🏋🏾 Tone with Tifa — for the strength training that pushed us and reminded us what our bodies can do

🍲 RS Cater — for feeding us delicious African cuisine that fueled the whole day

🌿 Mahaba Moss — for the sea moss gels and iced teas that kept us refreshed and glowing

🏛️ City of Seattle | Office of Arts & Culture — for partnering with us to make this community wellness event possible

👩🏾‍🦱 Volunteers — for piecing the day together and offering a helping hand

To our vendors and instructors: thank you for pouring your talent, your craft, and your heart into this event. You made it unforgettable.

And to our community: you didn’t just show up, you SHOWED UP! We see you, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Want more of that Strength & Rhythm energy? The incredible instructors and our community partners have their own events coming up so go support them:

🌍 House of Afro: Le Continent Edition — Saturday, August 23rd. Early bird tickets are live now → luma.com/w0d6r2sc

Rooftop views. Real conversations. Genuine community.✨

The 6th Can I Ask You Something? Networking Event at Apella was everything and more. The rooftop was calling and Seattle answered. Can I Ask You Something? brought real people together for real conversations. No small talk, no business card dumps. Just community thanks to @ensemble.wa and City of Seattle | Office of Arts & Culture as our event partner/sponsors.

This is what networking was always supposed to feel like.

Seattle, you never disappoint.

Thank you to our style partner, @armoire.go, headshots by @kodjo.jpg and event photography and videography by @mtcreativesolutions 🙏🏾

#Daily we have the #opportunity to participate and #grow
The question is, how many of us, #choose to go out and make those opportunities become more than #time spent somewhere!

Each day is a blessing, and everyone we meet and interact with is a blessing as well! So, if we count our blessings, and then we invest in growing those blessings. Life can and will become what we want, and what it’s supposed to be!

“The Connector” (my new 🆕 nickname) is what I will be known as, and what I will continue to expand!
We All have gifts,🎁 we All have talents, we All have the opportunity to change lives each day!

Let’s stay intentional, in being a blessing, to everyone we meet and work with!
