🐬 TRIP RECAP 🐬

The dolphins were good again this Sunday 7th December!

We had not one, but two birthday guests on board today and the perfect gift arrived with a group of three adult dolphins in our fastest dolphin-spotting ever! We saw them after only 20mins at sea, barely out of the harbour.

In the same location we quickly spotted another two adults frolicking by a small fishing boat and one solo off to the other side.

After a long while of floating and fawning over this group they were join by a mother and baby! Chinese white dolphins are dark grey at birth, losing their pigmentation for 3-4 years onwards.

We stayed floating in this area for the entire duration of our morning trip as this group continued to happily swim about us, calmly coasting the swell and was joined by a juvenile just before we departed

A wonderful morning thanks to everyone who shared in it.

It's spooky season! 🎃
.
As I spent so much time on my pride parade costume, this year I had the chance to revive Sailor Moon.

🐬 TRIP RECAP 🐬

We had a stunning day this Sunday 12th October!

The day started with a rainy bus ride, which made us a bit nervous for the boat ride but when we got to the pier it was all sunshine and rainbows!

We saw two adults and one juvenile by Fu Shan Viewing Point and spent some time floating here to observe them. Once they moved off we travelled just down the coast off Kai Kung Shan where we saw four adults, one juvenile and one adorable grey baby. We stayed here for the rest of or trip watching the dolphins jump, spy-hop, body-slam the water and generally frolick together.

A wonderful morning thanks to everyone who shared in it.

Karamatura to Donald Mclean Summit Loop - Waitakere Ranges.

One of the few good lengthy hikes available for dogs in the North Island. 4 hour return walking through sub tropical rainforest, a waterfall at the start, and fantastic views of the New Zealand West Coast at the top.

Good amount of stairs at the start too so a great workout too for my fellow fitness fiends ayyy.
