One thing I wish I had done differently in my 20s? GO TO THERAPY! 🥹🤍

I spent so much of my 20s trying to be strong, figuring life out, navigating relationships, carrying childhood wounds, and surviving things I never really took the time to process.

I thought moving on meant I had healed. But baby, there’s a difference between surviving something and actually healing from it.

Now, in my 30s, I’m doing the inner work. I’m learning myself, identifying patterns, unpacking trauma, setting boundaries, and giving myself the grace I wish I had given that younger version of me.

And one thing I’ve learned? You can love God, pray, have faith, AND go to therapy. 🙏🏽

Healing isn’t always pretty, but it’s necessary.

To every woman in her 20s, please don’t wait until you’re exhausted from carrying things you were never meant to carry forever. Invest in your mental and emotional well-being NOW.

And to my women in their 30s and beyond, it’s never too late to become a healthier version of yourself.

We’re not just building successful women. We’re building HEALED women. 🌹

Sis, everybody cannot go where God is taking you! 💕✨

One thing I wish I understood in my 20s was that not every relationship is meant to be saved.

Baby, I used to FIGHT for relationships! 😩 Friendships, romantic relationships, you name it. I wanted to fix everything, make everything work, and hold on to people even when the signs were right in front of me.

But I’ve learned something over the years…

Sometimes God is exposing people’s hearts while you’re busy making excuses for their behavior. 👀

You don’t know every conversation happening behind your back. You don’t always know someone’s true intentions. But when people continuously show you who they are, PAY ATTENTION.

And here’s the part that really changed me…

You can love people, forgive people, pray for people, and STILL recognize that they no longer belong in your life. 🌹

That’s not bitterness, baby. That’s growth. That’s discernment. That’s learning to protect your peace.

The woman I am today is no longer fighting to keep relationships that require me to abandon myself.

Because I’ve learned that you cannot build the life God has called you to live while holding on to relationships that keep tearing you down.

So sis, stop forcing connections. Stop begging for loyalty. Stop trying to prove your worth to people who refuse to see it.

Build with people who love you, respect you, celebrate you, and genuinely want to see you WIN! 💕

This past weekend, I stood inside something I once could only see in my mind. 🥹🎬✨

Becoming Her started as a vision God placed on my heart. Seeing those stories on the big screen, looking around the room, and watching people connect reminded me why saying yes was worth it—even when I didn’t have every step figured out.

To my cast: thank you for believing in this vision before there was a premiere to celebrate. For trusting me with your stories, showing up as yourselves, and helping bring this to life. You shared your hearts, and I will never take that lightly. 🤍

Watching these moments back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. For every person who helped, every guest who came, and every prayer that carried us here.

Girl, if God has placed something on your heart, take the next step. You don’t need to see the whole picture to begin. I’m still discovering where this journey will lead, but this weekend reminded me how much can unfold from one yes. 🙏🏽

👑 KNOW YOUR WORTH: Your Money. Your Choices. Your Future. 💰💕

Today our Dunamis Queens had the opportunity to learn financial literacy in a way they could actually experience!

Our October Guest Facilitator, Enuka Joseph, led the girls through a hands on budgeting challenge where they were given careers, income, expenses, and real life responsibilities and had to figure out how to make their money WORK. Then came the surprise… LIFE HAPPENS! 😩😂

Unexpected expenses meant budgets had to change, priorities had to shift, and decisions had to be made.

And THAT was the lesson.

Financial literacy isn’t simply about how much money you make. It’s understanding how to SPEND, SAVE, GIVE & GROW what comes into your hands.

But I especially loved that today’s lesson went beyond money.

The girls were challenged to think about self worth, boundaries, modesty, confidence, standards, and the decisions they are making TODAY for the women they are becoming tomorrow.

This is what we mean when we say Power. Poise. Purpose. 👑

A HUGE thank you to Enuka Joseph and the Grow Girl Grow Boy Foundation for investing your time, wisdom, resources, and heart into our young ladies today.

We don’t just want our Queens to dream about their futures. We want to give them the practical tools to BUILD them.

That’s what we’re about at the Abundant Woman Movement: supporting high-performing professional women who are ready to grow beyond their titles, gain visibility, and move forward with faith and confidence in what they bring to the table.
