I wanted to walk through the empty streets
And feel something constant under my feet
But all the news reports recommended that I stay indoors

I played a B-tier tournament at Crane Hill Disc Golf course and had a blast.

The first round I had the privilege of playing with Eric, Jason and Bill. The first round I shot under my rating by 20 points.

The second round I got to play with Jarrett, Joshua and Eric. Despite no birdies I managed to play a little above my rating.

Overall it was a beautiful day with great people. The course is a must play course with two different basket positions. A big congrats to Josh for taking down the MP40 division.

Birch park and Buck meadow was a fun tournament put on by Norma and Bill.

First round I had a great time playing with Eric,Rex and Norbert at Birch park. I played well above my rating and the weather was decent.

Second round I played the Temporary Buck Meadow course. I had the pleasure of playing with Dylan,Eric and Matt.I got to see Dylan shred the course up. If Dylan would have played MPO he would have taken it down! It was much windier than the first round and the double mando hole tore my heart out of my body. I played this round way under my rating.

Overall I played right around my rating and had a great time. I couldn't have done it without my Dylan XT nova. Nice job running the tournament by Bill and Norma.

No Joke - 10 Year Media Anniversary

On this day in 2017, I showed up to Devens to take pictures of the Hill Yeah! Spring Classic 5, with two phones and one battery pack. I knew no one in the disc golf community at that moment. It snowed the night before, further complicatin’ my first experience. Don’t worry, sandals had yet to be a part of the apparel.

I showed up to the wrong parkin’ lot. Played Devens a bunch and have always parked near hole 1. Didn’t know the Hawks Nest existed. Didn’t know checkin’ in and hole assignments existed. Thankfully Ned Eisenberg and Aaron Little came through hole 1 and was able to follow them to the pro shop.

I had come to follow two people from my research on the PDGA site. Daniel Marcus the lowest number PDGA member at the event and Samuel Henderson, which I believe was the highest rated player in the state at the time.

I remember followin’ TD, Chris Collette and his card first and for some reason laid center fairway behind a rock to start things out. I’m pretty sure they all thought who is this dumb fuck. Which I was and maybe still am.

I witnessed some amazin’ golf, some huge putts, and got to watch a one hole playoff to prolong the day. And I realized from the jump, I was layin’ down and in your face. Appreciate you all lettin’ me in your space throughout the years. It’s meant a lot to me.

Some fun facts about the event and people I met that I’ve seen routinely over the years.

The first picture I took of someone ended up being the person who signed me up to NEFA, Ned Eisenberg.

Met a very young futue tourin’ pro, Casey White but not as young as his PDGA pic, I believe.

Other people not tagable or pictured that I’m happy to call friends havin’ “met” then and still see out in the community

Undefeated on the road ✅ & 6-0 so far!

The Dacey Owls have hit new heights and we’re still climbing. 1 more match before we enter finals as the #1 seed of D Pool.

The memories we make, the battles we fight together, and the victories we take - these make the dedication worth it.

Every match since the snow started falling, we’ve pushed ourselves to our physical limits to play this sport we love. I love this team so damn much, can’t wait to finish this season by putting it all on the line at Finals!

“Juggernauts” 💪🏼😤🫡

1/31/26 - A day I will never forget!

The Dacey Owls went on the road to take on Pyramids Bammers @ Pyramids DGC in Leicester, MA.

We collectively trail-blazed through 2+ft of untouched snow, near-zero temps, and played some of the silliest disc golf I’ve ever witnessed.

14k steps, 30+ floors of elevation gained & descended, 2000+ active calories burned, 0 discs lost, 0 bogies made - the most physically strenuous and near-perfect golf I’ve played.

Words cannot describe how proud I am of my team. As a captain, your team is a reflection of how well you can prepare them and bring everyone together to fight for each other, despite any conditions. The Owl showed up HUGE and we took down The Bammers on their own turf, improving to 4-0 on the season.

You might call me crazy, but you simply may not understand why I do this. I love the game of disc golf, I love my teammates. Yesterday was the most brutal conditions I’ve ever subjected my body to just to play the game I love, and I’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

This team is just gettin started 🫡🦉

Finished the day with some piping hot ramen and Bleach w @patty_muratore . Truly an awesome day 😌

A few of personal favorites from the Charlotte Roar tourney week featuring moments from the ace race, casual rounds with the New England homies, and of course some tourney clips.

We had a killer time hosting this event, and can’t wait to see you all our next big A tier we’ll be helping with, the Sunshine Open, in Massachusetts, May 29-31st! We hope to see some of you there. #discgolf #gmt #greatestmediateam #charlotteroar #charlotte

I played a fundraising tournament Saturday and a B-tier Sunday.

Saturday was a fun event that 56 people came out to play. I was partnered with Bjorn and got to play with Brian and Zack. Thanks to Bjorn We played good enough to get one of the amazing trophies at the end. It was nice to see everybody coming out to support Homeland Heroes Foundation. A big shout out to Grace for pulling all this together.

Sunday I played a B-tier at Willow Valley in Rhode island. I felt good about how I played and the end result was me playing over my round rating. I had the privilege of playing with Eric, Rob, Brendon and Josh.

A big thank you to the Dylan Nova. The disc got me to the basket every time. Congratulations goes out to Dylan for taking down the MPO division.
