It was a big intense morning at @epochbjj

Best part about the test is learning how much more there is to know. Hardest part was getting there.

Huge thanks to Jesse and the whole crew at Epoch for helping me push the limits of what I am capable of.

It’s match week at Toro Cup 🏆 Before the action drops — here’s where every gym stands. Revolution BJJ leads the pack at 14-3 (82.4%) with 12 submission wins across 8 different finishes. Triumph Fight Academy: 2 for 2 via heel hook only. South Hill Submission Grappling right behind with 5 subs and a kneebar specialty. Copy this from Luke Crisco’s post on his Instagram account. Not many people can say they earned their black belt in BJJ. It normally takes an average of 2 years between color belts, that’s only if you’re training several times a week, all year long, non-stop!!! A lot of people never get to a legit black belt, but Luke did with his support team at his home gym, Epoch Jiu Jitsu, in Wilmington, NC, his training friends, and his family - his pop, momma, and brother Noah Crisco, who has been training with him most of his life !!! Also his Dad Josh Crisco
& Business partners Brandon Davis Kavin Sydalack @ Guerilla MMA for always supporting Luke all theses years & Ron Golden his first Coach when he was 5 yrs old !!! @guerillammanc @satsumajiujitsu @roninmmaclub @kavzilla84 @bbdavis87 @tyler.f.young.3 @criscojosh

Today my husband walked in as a brown belt. He said a prayer on the mat. He tested. He walked out as a black belt.

I'm in constant awe of him. His tenacity, his drive, his leadership, his ability to take failure and turn it to around. He doesn't back down.

Forever proud. Forever in love.

All in Jesus' name.

Just some impromptu movement for the daily demands and to keep the mind open to new ways movements can be trained or explored. 150lbs. Bag works as a perfect BJj psuedo-training partner.
