Journey into the high desert, immerse yourself in the herd, and learn what it reveals about you. 🐎

The award-winning EQUUS Experience is a private, horse-assisted journey of self-discovery, where specially trained horses and ICF-certified specialists create unexpected opportunities for reflection, connection and joy.

Offered as a private experience through The Inn of The Five Graces, EQUUS takes place just 20 minutes from the inn and is designed to inspire new possibilities for individuals, couples and families.

I may be certified as a Transformational Nurse Coach, but I consider that my associate’s degree.

As a Nurse Practitioner, I’ve always believed that education doesn’t end when you earn the credential. I bring that same standard to coaching.

Right now, I’m working toward my Professional Certified Coach certification through the International Coaching Federation while completing an intensive two-year Equine Assisted Coaching certification @equusinspired

Because if I’m asking my clients to grow, evolve, and become more of who they’re meant to be, I believe I should be willing to do the same. 🐴✨

You don’t have to arrive with answers. You don’t have to know exactly what you’re looking for. You only have to be willing to take the first step.

We’re honored to join Kelly Wendorf and the EQUUS team this November for Emerge, a transformative retreat at Buffalo Spirit Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Guided by Kelly’s lifelong commitment to human development through horses and relationship and supported by a team of experienced facilitators including Darin Hardy from Level 7 High Terrain, this experience invites participants into a deeper conversation about presence, courage, leadership, and the wisdom that emerges when we slow down long enough to truly listen. We’re excited to join Kelly and the EQUUS team in this work, and we’d love to share this invitation with anyone who feels called to attend.

If you’re navigating change, seeking clarity, or simply feeling called to reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way, Emerge offers a unique space to do that work. Learn more about this retreat and register through our link in bio or by visiting level7highterrain.com/emerge.

Kelly Wendorf works in the rare place where horses, executive leadership, and deep human truth meet.

In episode 56 of Natural Genius, Sam Bell speaks with Kelly Wendorf, founder and CEO of EQUUS, about horses, belonging, corporate shamanism, Uncle Bob Randall, Buffalo Spirit Ranch, and the shift from power-over to power-with.

Kelly works with senior leaders, Fortune 500 executives, boards, teams and underserved communities, bringing together equine-facilitated leadership, neuroscience, somatic awareness, Indigenous wisdom and deep human perception.

This conversation moves through grief, belonging, love as a verb, horses as elders, and what leadership becomes when people are invited back into truth, care and presence.

Content note: Kelly shares a story of late miscarriage early in the episode, which may be upsetting for some listeners. Please take care while listening.

Listen via Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube or link in bio.

TRS Team Gathering with EQUUS 🐴✨🤎

Last week, our team had the opportunity to participate in our spring team-building experience with @equusinspired , engaging in powerful experiential learning alongside horses, one another, and ourselves.

Together, we explored themes of leadership, trust, boundaries, mindfulness, authentic connection, and the conditions that help individuals and communities thrive. Through reflection and shared experience, we were reminded that growth happens when we slow down, stay present, and learn in relationship.

We learned so much, felt so much, and left with new insights that will continue to shape our work and the ways we support community.

We’re excited about the growth of equine programming at TRS and the opportunities it could create for healing, leadership development, self-discovery, and community connection.

Stay tuned as we continue learning, dreaming, and building what comes next. 📍

Horses respond to who we are in the moment, not who we intend to be, which makes learning with them both illuminating and unexpectedly moving. The EQUUS Experience, the flagship horse-assisted program for individuals, couples, and families, creates space for joyful self-discovery and a renewed understanding of communication and trust.

Coaches, when was the last time you gave yourself the gift of reflection? Join us next March 13-15 on the EQUUS Campus in Santa Fe for three days to pause, breathe, and reconnect with why you do this work. Held within the container of coach supervision, this retreat is your chance to dig into your inner work alongside other coaches who get it—the complexity, the beauty, the weight of holding space for others.

Led by Liz Stewart, Kelly Wendorf, and the EQUUS Herd, this intimate cohort will be limited to 8 participants. You’ll walk away with a fresh awareness of how you show up for yourself and others, how to move through life and work with greater self-trust, and a group of people you can truly rely on.
