A hospital stay can feel big and unfamiliar to a child. 🥹Sometimes a soft bear🧸, a comforting story📖 and a little encouragement 💪🏼 can make the day feel gentler.

That’s the heart of our Comfort & Storytime Program

Help us bring comfort and stories to more children. 🙏🏼

As a new school year begins, I pray that every child walking through those school doors feels brave, strong, confident, and loved. 💛📚✨

May they have the courage to be themselves, the strength to overcome the hard days, and most importantly, the kindness to look out for one another. 🫶

Wishing all of our children a safe, happy, successful school year filled with new friendships, beautiful memories, growth, and so many reasons to smile. 🌟

Here’s to an amazing year ahead! 🎒✏️💛

I’d normally light a candle on a cupcake if you were here, that’s my tradition at midnight. It’s unfortunate that’s not what I was able to do tonight for you. And as the years pass it doesn’t get any easier. I miss you more and hate the distance of the sounds that reminded me of your presence and being able to hold you close to my chest. I love you forever. Happy heavenly birthday my sweet angel. 😔🙏🏼#themagicbearfoundation #anthonyjoel #hiesucks

For the past 6 years, we’ve carried on a tradition that means everything to our family.

Every year, prior to July 27th, we pay for the birthday cake of someone celebrating their birthday on the same day as our sweet Anthony “AJ.” Tomorrow, someone will arrive to pick up their cake only to discover it’s already been paid for, along with a letter sharing AJ’s story.

It’s our way of making sure his life continues to touch hearts, spread kindness, and remind someone that even the shortest lives can leave the greatest impact.

AJ, we hope your legacy lives on forever through every act of love inspired by your life.

Loving you forever ❤️ 7/27/19 #TheMagicBearFoundation #CelebrateWithKindness #InLovingMemoryOfAJ #anthonyjoel

What I thought was the end of my story became the beginning of my purpose.

After losing my son Anthony, God turned my pain into a mission. What started with writing a children’s book and gifting it with a bear to the very hospital that cared for him grew into The Magic Bear Foundation.

While becoming a certified life coach, I realized children need more than comfort—they need hope, faith, and the power of positive affirmations. And I thought, why stop at hospitals? Why not orphanages? Why not every child?

Sometimes our deepest pain gives birth to our greatest purpose. Anthony’s legacy continues to touch lives, and I know this is exactly how it was meant to unfold. ❤️🧸📖✨

One of the most powerful lessons we can teach children is the difference between what they can control and what they cannot.

They cannot control what others say, think, or do. They cannot control every challenge they face or every obstacle that comes their way.

But they can control their words, their choices, their attitude, and how they respond.

Through affirmations, positive self-talk, and resilience, children learn that their strength comes from within. When they focus on what they can control, they build confidence, courage, and the ability to overcome life’s challenges one step at a time.

At The Magic Bear Foundation, we believe every child deserves the tools to believe in themselves, even during difficult moments. 💙🧸

✨ Little minds become strong hearts through positive words.

Every affirmation a child repeats becomes a seed of confidence, courage, kindness, and self-belief. 💛 At The Magic Bear Foundation, we believe reminding children who they are can truly change the way they see themselves and the world around them.

Which affirmation is your favorite? 🧸💫
