This summer, I made a wild short film called The Doghouse. There are few things I love more in this world than making movies with the people I love most. To everyone who helped bring this twisted little piece to life, I’m so damn grateful for you, and so excited for y’all to see it soon.

Give us a lil follow for some fun updates about the project! To kick it off, here’s the official poster art by the one-and only @jackaamo You absolutely killed this bud, I love ya very much.

@thedoghouse.mov is coming soon 🐾

Thrilled to announce that Covenant of the Salmon People has been nominated for a 2024 NW Emmy. The film has been getting great coverage nationally on PBS and the Nez Perce Tribe has done an amazing job on the grassroots tour across the country. It was an honor to collaborate with them on this piece and huge shoutout to the creative team and participants that brought this story to life 🙏 visit covenantofthesalmonpeople.com for upcoming screenings or stream on the PBS passport app.

After two years of production, I'm thrilled to announce the premier of our latest feature film " Covenant of the Salmon People" which will screen at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, Mt. on April 24th as a finalist and be available to screen virtually for a week thereafter. It was a pleasure and honor to work with the Nez Perce Tribe to co-produce this film.

COVENANT OF THE SALMON PEOPLE is a 60-minute documentary portrait of the Nez Perce Tribe as they continue to carry out their ancient promise to protect the Chinook salmon.

The film explores the intertwined fate of the Nimiipuu (Nez Perce), salmon, and the landscape from which both evolved. The Nez Perce people are the oldest documented civilization in North America, with archaeological sites along Idaho's Salmon River dating back 16,500 years. Today the Tribe is facing the extirpation of their most prized salmon species despite decades of recovery efforts. The widespread construction of dams across their Traditional lands have continued to challenge salmon recovery.

The only option remaining for the Tribe, is the breach of four dams on the lower Snake River– will the Federal Government take charge of the situation or sit idly while this iconic species vanishes from their home waters?

Shout out to an amazing team of collaborators on this one:

SWIFTWATER FILMS 2022

What a year !!! I feel so blessed to collaborate with so many amazing and inspirational people in front of and behind the camera. This was a year filled to the brim with wrapping up a few multi-year films and diving into others. I have so much gratitude to the supporters and clients who made these projects possible and everyone who has given their time to watch them. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. My drive as a filmmaker is the medium’s incredible potential and power to create positive change in a world that is equitable and in Balance with the natural world. I view our cameras as tools and our productions as conduits for these stories. 2023 will be a big year back on the road and hope to see you all in a theatre or on a river soon. 🙏
