@leeroystagger and his band wrap up this leg of his Pilgrimage tour with us TOMORROW ✨26th!

Co-produced with Joel Plaskett, Leeroy's new album Pilgrimage reflects his journey of self discovery, and doesn’t dilute the gritty, dark moments of exploring one's soul. Influenced by old-school punk iconography, kinked chords reminiscent of the harmonies and optimism of the 1960s, and raw, rockin’ rhythms that shake your butt while they stir your mind.

Local singer-songwriter @suncardmusic (aka Erika Chan) opens the night.

@leeroystagger with his band on his Pilgrimage Tour, celebrating the release of his new album! Co-produced with Joel Plaskett, it's Stagger’s first release since signing with Cordova Bay Records. Opening the night is local artist @suncardmusic, while intertwining simple narratives and humble conscious curiosities, explores the purity of the human experience through music and poetry.

Victoria-born songwriter Leeroy Stagger grew up on Vancouver Island, immersed in rural rhythms and the sublime power of nature, before moving to southern Alberta to write songs while surrounded by the relentless prairies, eventually circling back to his hometown. During this journey, Stagger embraced sobriety and, guided by ingrained principles of open-heartedness and candor. Leeroy Stagger’s music moves between folk, roots and rock, written from a lens of a spiritual path through addiction and recovery.

Listening to Stagger’s music, one is privy to intimate flashes; he doesn’t dilute the gritty, dark moments endured in the ebon gloom of the soul. Yet his music lifts, fueled by brutal candor and an unquenchable desire to capture the luminosity lurking on the other side of the shadowed horizon.

Today reminded me that investing in women’s sport doesn’t need to be expensive or hard.

@pwhl_goldeneyes invited us to join their @seawheezehalfmarathon cheer section and these awesome @shesgotnext.ca women answered the call!

Everyone brought the energy, Goldeneyes gear, and duck-themed cheers! 🙌

And we just produced an ad for a local women’s sports team that a captive audience of runners and more on social saw, by just showing up.

That is community and investing in women’s sports. It was free and easy (well, not the 5am wake-up part:).

Cheers to these rockstars and everyone who ran… you’re pucking amazing! 💙
