“The Suzuki Jimny is fashion. There, I said it.” As found inside BrainFuel Magazine Vol. 001, journalist Ollie Cox theorises how the humble Jimny is the four-wheeled sibling to menswear’s greatest underdog: workwear.

Be More Jimny is complete with a photo series photographed by Robinson Barbosa, and directed by Eric Brain. Here, the car becomes the wearer: an Issey Miyake Fall/Winter 1985 inflatable red jacket protects, dressing a steering wheel like an air bag.

Likewise, a Walter Van Beirendonck “Wild and Lethal Trash” Spring/Summer 1999 “Hi-Sci-Fi” Green Plastic Half-Bag/Half-Top Sleeve with Frog Hologram number performs as a covering for a wing mirror-turned-bionic arm.

Decades-old garments, such a an unlabelled Mottled Grey Jacket with Storm Flap covers the chest of a seat; whereas our protagonist, the crash test dummy, is styled in Cottweiler Fall/Winter 2016, notably thenTransparent Green Tracksuit with Contrast Binding.

All clothes (and dummies) are sourced from Aro Archive.

The Suzuki (not a Jimny) Samurai is owned by Sam Gosling.
