Keaton Stafford and Rowan Cross were never supposed to end up on opposite sides of the cage.

Before the fights, the silence, and the years of hurt neither of them knew how to leave behind, they were next-door neighbors and best friends who shared first secrets, first kisses, and first love.

Then one brutal night destroyed it all.

Four years later, Rowan returns home from the Air Force determined to build the MMA career he’s always wanted, only to find Keaton already chasing the same dream at the same gym.
Forced back into each other’s lives, old wounds reopen, tempers flare, and the chemistry they’ve spent years trying to forget proves impossible to ignore.

But getting each other back is only the first fight.

The past still hurts, trust still has to be rebuilt, and love alone can’t fix everything waiting for them.

When ambition and distance threaten to tear them apart once again, Rowan and Keaton must decide if they’re strong enough to fight for each other outside the cage too.

Through every mistake, every fight, and every attempt to move on, one thing has always remained.

Each other.

From childhood best friends and first loves to enemies, rivals, and fighters with everything on the line, Rowan and Keaton’s story is about what breaks them, what heals them, and what still remains.

23 years of Amy Grant visits 🥰🥰
🥰December 19, 2003: Cleveland, Ohio (Simply Christmas)
🥰October 18, 2005: New Philadelphia, Ohio (Three Wishes taping)
🥰June 25, 2010: Orlando, Florida (Corrina's dance competition and our first of 10 days at Disney/Universal)
🥰May 9, 2026: Nashville, Tennessee (Grimey's Records THE ME THAT REMAINS Album Signing)
After 16 years...like the amount of time it took Sarah to sing OVERNIGHT live with her mother...I finally reunited with Amy and Mimi finally got her opportunity to meet her!
After a nice greeting with Jennifer 🥰, I walked up and started speed speaking my history of my Amy encounters to Amy. While she signed our albums, she didn't make eye contact (because she was watching as she signed her name) but asked my name and said that my voice was familiar to her. That was a very sweet moment, how her senses were ignited. I rambled on quickly giving her brief snippets of each of these meetings with her. I brought up Three Wishes and she gushed with excitement and asked which town as her smile beamed throughout. We needed to keep the line moving but she kept eye contact and was very invested in hearing more...again, so sweet.
I told her that Mimi was with me in 2003 and 2005 but didn't have a chance to meet her (I was the only one with a Meet & Greet pass in 2003 and Mimi was off meeting Brandi Carlile in 2005 while Amy was with us).
I mentioned, "so in 2010..." and then they took our pictures and as we were shuffling off she asked, "okay, 2010??!" still engaged and smiling from ear to ear. I explained how she walked into our hotel restaurant in Orlando and I walked up and told her about our first two meetings, how the kids are named after her and Vince, that she told me she had to meet the kids, that she invited us to her table, and that she was nervous that her son, Matt, was skydiving that morning for the first time. She was definitely in awe of how I held onto all of these details. Then I told her that I photographed her show three years ago. She looked back, still smiling and gave me a "right on" type of nod.
Although our visit was the shortest out of the 4, it was still so wonderful connecting the dots with her. ❤️

"No Fool For Love Songs" is the next Spruce Texas Romance, coming very soon! Cover photography by Eric D Battershell Eric Battershell Photography Eric David Battershell

🎶🎵🎶🎵

TJ McPherson has his future mapped out for him: graduate college, move back to Spruce, Texas, take over the family business, and die of boredom.

So he plans one last shot at freedom: the summer road trip of a lifetime - until his best friend blows it up.

That's how TJ ends up at a Chase Holt concert he didn't even want to attend, pouring his heart out in a dim hallway to a total stranger.

Chase Holt is a country rock star living under stadium lights, fighting label pressure, and feeling trapped in a version of himself he recognizes less and less each day.

Neither were prepared to meet the other.

And wanting each other may not be something either can afford.

But some people are worth risking everything for - even if the rest of the world seems determined to pull them apart.

"No Fool For Love Songs" is a new emotionally-charged slow-burn standalone in the Spruce Texas Romance series. Coming soon 💕

Everyone knows what they need to know about me. I’m a dangerous man with a dark and twisted soul. A killer. I’m in the business of power, and money flows through every corrupted vein in my body. They call me Push. I run the wicked streets of Washington D.C. I have everything I could possibly want, except one thing – Nadia. She’s like a delicious drug running through my sinister veins.
