January-June:
1-3: went to Mexico City to share the Gospel on the UNAM campus, learned how to salsa, partnered with a local humanitarian organization and experienced God’s love for the city and His people.
4: farming 👩‍🌾🌱
5: enjoying life in Duluth. I like to sit on my porch and eat dumplings and watch the cars go by and, if I’m lucky, see a rainbow.
6: the most wholesome whimsy-filled 21st birthday 💐✨🍰
7: sweet time with my aunt and cousin, ran a marathon, no big deal. (!!!)

9: my sweet sisters in Christ!
10: learning a lot about how sheep-like I am, and more about God as our good shepherd.
11: learning about growing, tending, planting; physically and spiritually. Ask me about the thistles in the garden and thistles in my heart.
12: oh, how I’m going to miss Jim (and my roommates and house!) so grateful for the past year, but also excited for a new season!
13: sent this to my Ma, but realized this is also very me.

The question I’ve been challenged with the past few months has been, “why am I a Christian?”
It’s not a phase that I’ll grow out of, it’s not a crutch to lean on when life gets hard, it’s not another vice to cope with life. It is a true, life changing heart renewal.
2 years ago I was living a double life, claiming to be a Christian, but also living in sin. I was angry, impatient, bitter, and full of doubt and fear of the future. I came up to Duluth, met people who truly followed Jesus, experienced his love and grace, and fully gave my life to Jesus in October 2024. I was baptized March 2026…and let me tell you my life is definitely not easy, but it is SO much better with Jesus. I have hope, peace, joy and know my purpose is to love God and share His love with others. I tasted what the world had to offer, and nothing satisfied my heart the way Jesus has.
It’s not too late, he’s not mad at you, you’re never too far gone, no matter how far you’ve ran away. There is a God who created you for a purpose and loves you deeply.

Romans 10:9 “because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Come to Jesus, His arms are open wide.
