One week of ROOSEVELT means it's time for a BTS drop! We shot this alllll the way back in May, and honestly it feels like a lifetime ago. This video was only made possible because of the incredible people who gave us their day off and their talents to make this video possible. I love you all so much!!

Gabe making the Magician's disappearance happen! 🪄

The ritual is set in motion thanks to Eli being the best AC 📷

Addison! Production designer extraordinaire! She made our already very witchy location feel even more haunted and magical ✨️

An actor prepares

Getting ready to fight and break up 💔 Jordan pulling double duty handling lights and also being THE MOST efficient and lovely 1st AD of all time. She is also so good at making sure I drink water, very important.

Eli, absolutely over my shenanigans

Gabe! From magician to gaffer! Now that's real magic!

I created these runes specifically for this shoot and the spell shot on stage! Any guesses what they mean?

The team!! Minus Gabe, Eri, and Michaela (who took all the pictures and is in none of them????!!!)

My favorite picture from the day!!! Hannah is the reason this project has actually come to life. Our fearless direct and producer. A brilliant mind, the best creative taste, and endlessly fun to work with.

Eri being the best scene partner (this is our second project playing partners!!)

The Fool and The Eight of Swords 🗡

That's a wrap, witches 🌹

our short documentary @thecleaninglady.documentary won a Bronze Telly for the TV/ General Doc - Short Form category and I could not be any more proud of this project and what it represents. Thank you to everyone who helped us bring this film to life, and to Marisol Reina, for trusting me with directing this very personal film about her life as an undocumented immigrant in the U.S.

Thank you @povdocs for giving an opportunity and space for our film to be shared with a wide audience. Thank you @filmindependent for being our fiscal sponsor. Thank you @docnycfest for believing in our film and having us share our world premiere at this amazing festival. And biggest thank you to our producers @runcarlosrun and @mclainstagr4m for building this film with me and guiding me along the way on my first doc!

The First Color (Short Film)

Devon’s mother is a painter who has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Now the Tout family must find a way to help her find hope.

This is a very special short film that I had the honour to direct and co-write from a few years ago. It has a very special place in my heart— we partnered with the ALS Association (Golden West Chapter) and an amazing ALS researcher (Kim Staats) to make sure our film could be a scientifically accurate as possible. “The First Color” is a film inspired by the love and life of Christopher Kelley, our co-writer’s (Hannah Grace Kelley) dad, who passed away from ALS.
