Twilight Park is back in production
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
At my gallery, I am fortunate to encounter a truly diverse range of artists on a daily basis. These meaningful connections have led to opportunities for collaboration on various creative projects. For the short film *Ghost Stay*—directed by New York-based filmmaker Eric Reiser—I created the plush toys that appear in the film, provided narration, and designed the DVD packaging. I have also collaborated with apparel brands, creating plush toys based on their original characters. My work extends beyond making plush toys; I have also illustrated confectionery packaging and contributed to the production of a self-published picture book titled *Shizuku-chan* (written by Yuko Kadotani, illustrated by heidi.). Whenever someone I respect invites me to collaborate, or an exciting opportunity presents itself, my immediate response is always, "Let's do it!" My career has been built on a combination of the generosity of those who have given me chances—even when I lacked prior experience—and my own willingness to take a leap of faith. gallery björnでは、日々、様々な作り手たちと出会えます。

To precede Holos Gramma (Whole Picture), XINEMA is pleased to present Shadow Puppetry, a community shadow puppet making workshop, hosted by Eric Leiser // @ericleiser00, taking place at XINEMA’s Fieldhouse on August 7, 2026, from 6-9pm. In this workshop, participants will create handmade shadow puppets that explore organic forms, speculative creatures, and improvised image-making processes inspired by Leiser’s practice in holography, analogue cinema, sculpture, and performance. Puppets created during the workshop will become part of a collaborative expanded cinema performance presented outside XINEMA’s Fieldhouse with XINEMA member Niloufar Samadi // @nilsamadi on the opening night of Holos Gramma (Whole Picture), combining live shadow play, and 16mm film projection. No previous experience is required. All materials and tools will be provided. You’re also welcome to bring objects or materials you’d like to experiment with. Workshop slots are $30 suggested donation, NOTAFLOF, (no one turned away for lack of funds). All workshop materials included! Snacks will be provided. The workshop will be held outside. In the case of inclement weather, the workshop will be held inside XINEMA’s Fieldhouse. Maximum workshop participants: 10 Minimum participant age: 10 If held indoors, this workshop is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Accessible public bathrooms will be open throughout the workshop’s duration; in addition, indoor bathrooms will be available via a short ramp and 29” doorways. This is a mask-recommended event. Masks can be provided free of charge. If you require further financial or physical accommodation, please email info@xinema.ca. Sign up through the link in our bio. Its here! ❇️ Please join us on Saturday, August 8, 7-10pm for the opening of Holos Gramma (Whole Picture), an exhibition of new holographic works by Eric Leiser // @ericleiser00, taking place in XINEMA’s Darkroom. This exhibition is accompanied by an expanded cinematic shadow puppet performance by Eric Leiser and XINEMA member Niloufar Samadi // @nilsamadi, outside XINEMA’s Fieldhouse at 9pm. Please note, the exhibition will only be open for the weekend. To schedule a viewing on Sunday, August 9, please email info@xinema.ca. Holos Gramma—a phrase coined by holography pioneer Dennis Gabor translating to “the whole picture”—considers how holography captures the immense amount of information contained within perceived reality. Through a site-specific installation, Eric Leiser will present new holographic assemblage works composed of both physical and captured hand-sculpted ceramics that mimic found and imagined organic forms. Inspired by the intersections of natural and scientific imagery, these arrangements mirror the hierarchies of the infinite and interstitial space between real and virtual structures in holography. Each hologram is composed of a Slavich laser-sensitive holographic film plate painted with emulsion-staining chemistry, then encoded with the objects’ three-dimensional information with laser light at a microscopic level. To accompany the exhibition, there will be an improvised, collaborative expanded cinema performance presented outside XINEMA’s Fieldhouse at 9pm on opening night. The performance will showcase live shadow puppetry, lit with looped 16mm projection and laser illuminated transmission holograms. Community-made shadow puppets, created in Leiser’s Shadow Puppetry workshop will be presented as part of the final performance. This presentation will activate the surrounding site through collective participation and ephemeral image-making—highlighting the intersections between holography, analogue cinema, sculpture, and performance; multiple facets of both Eric’s practice and broader unconventional cinematic forms. More words about the solo exhibition of Eric Leiser @ericleiser00 / 25.04 - 24.05.2026 - Montreux, CH. The multimedia installation Ethereal Grounds engages with the filmic rituals embedded within emotional rites of passage, regeneration, and transformation through an evolving dialogue between land-based narration, projection environments, and hand-drawn interventions. Layered imagery, atmospheric textures, and cinematic language dissolve into reflective spaces suspended between the imagined and the embodied. Through time-based experimentation, the installation investigates landscape as a site of memory, constructing dreamscapes shaped by the emotional traces of time and the absorptive materiality of analog holography. #artistrun #off_off_switzerland @_murmurcontemporary_ #ericleiser #meltingwallsvolumes
