Another fly out Ptarmigan season is in the books! It was a great time helping fellow hunters accomplish their upland goals. We had many hunters acquire all three species of ptarmigan while hunting with us at @all_alaska_outdoors Lodge. Congrats to those who also completed their North American Upland Slam while they were here!

One of my good friends and I took his airplane on a fly out duck and goose hunt this week. What an incredible experience! Thanks Paul!

Turkey Hunting in the Midwest

My dad and I had a chance to hunt turkeys together this spring. It was a great time and we were able to get our new @tcarmsco ENCORE Turkey guns ready to go for next season!

I’m already looking forward to next duck season in Alaska! I’m headed to the Lower 48 early this year to visit family and do some deer hunting. Check out @ericlockerhunter if you want to follow along on my deer hunting adventures.

New @bossshotshells Copper 28 gauge shells are an absolute pile driver! When I found out Boss was making these new shells I knew I needed to get my hands on some. So while I was back in the lower 48 about a month ago I ordered some new Copper shells to take back to Alaska with me. If you know sea ducks, you know they are hard to kill cleanly sometimes. This past weekend I took them out sea duck hunting and killed birds more stone dead than I’ve done in my life. There’s something special about how these shells hit! I’m super impressed!
