Connor, you are living proof of it. We met at Envision, and in a handful of months this became one of the deepest brotherhoods of my life. That's the accelerated path. Relationship. Reflection. The first Bali adventure was epic! MAY 26, 2026 - archival golden birthday reflections :)

A year ago, when I was living in Montreal, in the midst of an internal coup d’etat - I cast a spell.

I was going to feel CLEAN, EMPOWERED, MOTIVATED, GROUNDED, & CENTERED.

I did that. I spent the next year learning to titrate and transmute heartbreak.

building my capacity to feel.
stepping into power.

In an effort to abide to life, I’ve been sober for over a year from thc, nicotine, and alcohol.

what I’ve learned is that although the pain of grief can be immense, the pain of numbness is cataclysmic.

addiction, for many, is like microdosing death

funny enough - an orgasm in French is le petit-mort - little death

yet, the Buddha describes addiction as craving. One type of which is a craving for non-being. annihilation.

I’ve been learning to relate. Both to my pain and to the responses that defend me from her with more compassion.

There is a part of me that ushers in hibernation. To protect from perceived annihilation. She has chosen Winter as her name.

There is a part of me that endures. He leaps through trials of grit even the Gods would scoff. Heracles has been his moniker. Bit on the nose but I like that haha.

Emotional alchemy has been facilitated by physical transformation.

The gym has been my laboratory and each set a new alchemical concoction.

Decades of dymorphia dissolving as newfound strength takes their place.

I’m proud of the selves that are emerging. Breath by breath, Indra’s net is loosening.

May we all be free.

“Heaven Is A Mindstate”

It is so easy to be in the mind, it is so easy to get out of the mind, it is even so easy to express from the heart. But can you find balance between the two (mind heart coherence) and can you listen to the body?

Reality is only challenging when you are holding onto false beliefs. When you surrender to how it actually is, you enter the kingdom of heaven

And so how to act out of surrender, from the balance of heart mind coherence, is by aligning your actions and your words. As hypocrisy is the opposite of authenticity.
