The Fall 2024 Robbie Kienzle Workshop Series, will conclude with FOUR new workshops in December! This FREE artist professional development workshop series is hosted by the Paseo Arts Association each year thanks to funding from the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts! Each class is taught by local artists, experts and educators with experience in each focus area. Workshops include: 💫 Sales & Marketing For Artists: This workshop will be taught by local artist and educator Katelynn Knick! Attendees will learn techniques for marketing their artwork, pricing their artwork, tracking inventory and sales and strategies to expand their buyer network in the community! This class is virtual and will be taught through Zoom on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 6-8pm. 💫 Social Media & Website Tips for Artists: Attendees will learn how to engage with audiences on social media to promote their artwork, how to use each social media platform for the most impact, tips on where to create clean and budget-friendly websites and how to brand your art practice online! This workshop will be taught by Erin Baird of Sunny Dayz Mural Fest and the American Institute of Architects! This class is virtual and will be taught through Zoom on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 6-8pm. 💫 Photographing Your Art: This workshop will be taught by Scott Vo of Studio V in Oklahoma City! Attendees will learn how to take professional photos of their artwork online on websites, applications and social media. There will be a designated time for a hands-on session in the photo studio with a live camera! This class will be taught at 3024 Paseo on Monday, Dec. 9 from 6-8pm. 💫 Finances for Artists: This workshop will be taught by Joi Slemp of Prosper and the Creative Academy! REMINDER: Spots are open for the first classes for the Spring 2025 Robbie Kienzle Artist Workshop Series! This FREE artist professional development workshop series is hosted by the Paseo Arts Association each year thanks to funding from the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts! A total of eight classes will be available this spring for artists of all levels. 💫 Application Tips for Artists: Attendees will learn important tips for submitting applications with a special focus on artist residencies, exhibitions and festivals/fairs. This workshop is a great fit for entry to intermediate-level artists! This workshop will be taught by Liz Roth, the Interim Director of the OSU Museum of Art! 💫 Finances for Artists: Attendees will learn how to keep finances organized, properly track income and expenses for art sales, and learn about sales tax and tax filing including specific affordable resources.
