“Vaudevillain” my DEBUT ALBUM will be all yours on the 2nd of April 2027🥹❤️
You can pre order vinyls (first 200 red for your pleasure) and CDs now from the link in my bio!

This album has a conceptual feel to it of course, but it really is a true expression of my feelings on identity, womanhood and the exhilarating and at times deeply troubling ways I’ve found navigating the music scene and my life.
Set within a cabaret world, I hope to take you on a journey of romance, late music-fuelled nights and frivolity. With every music scene there can be the most wonderful but also brutal terrain, my personal experience of it as a woman and also just as a working musician has been interesting so far (to say the least!)
Going between pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes, personal tours or sold out venues, in and out of heartbreaks all with the unadmittable desire to be loved by all - it can be the most confusing up and down cycle my guys! One moment you matter, the next you don’t. And in a way, I absolutely love life like that. I think there’s something really important about getting to start out that way, or continue that way, as a musician. It definitely at the very least keeps you real AF haha.
I love music, romance and being a woman so, so much, and really, in all its messy glory, this album is my impassioned celebration of all those things - the gloriously good, the sometimes bad and the downright ugly!

Still many more a single to come and so much to celebrate - and make light and heavy of - so please strap in folks, I really wanna take you for a ridiculous ride (if you’ll let me ;)) xxxx

Recording this album with George Miller and Bill Gill in their crazy Russian bunker-esque studio has been the most hilarious, liberating and life affirming experience. They are truly lovely men and making this record this year has made this year the best of my life!
Lots of love
Alice xxx

Some more deep cuts from the past 12 months.

The first photo was taken around 5am near the Balkello Standing Stone (slide 2) on the outskirts of Dundee at the tail end of April when spring was springing. I felt like the bird on the fence and myself were the only beings awake in the world at the time. I got to the car park near the stone before it was open. It was frosty still but would turn into a beautiful day. I’d car camped the night before, which I find quite a funny term for sleeping in your boot. I did some very basic yoga in front of the stone to loosen up and welcome the day ahead where I’d link up with my friend Jozer in Dundee for some painting before carrying on with the road trip that would take me from Glasgow, to Roslyn, Loanhead, Dundee, Aberdeen for Nu Art and back to Glasgow.

The rest of the photos feature: the Pictish stones at Aberlorno, Lucky Demons, the Hometown boys at Anderston Ash Park, the Barrowlands, Strangefields for the Gaelic Futurism exhibition, Grateful, the Alchemy Experiment for Pizzaboy’s exhibition, some Kendama boys, 2x of the coolest car parks in the UK (Aberdeen and London) and my favourite big auld rock, the Old Man of Storr on Skye.

Photos taken on disposable Kodaks, Kodak 200/400 on Olympus Trip MD and Nikon Litetouch. 📸
