I’ll never have the words to express how fortunate I am to to celebrate such a beautiful person. happy birthday @eringlind !This is going up a day late because I was too busy spending the day with @eringlind on her birthday, searching for banana slugs, watching whales, and beaching it up!

✨ Stylist Spotlight ✨

Last, but not least we have our owner Erin! Her vision is what brought us all together in the first place! Read on below to find out a little more about her.

1: What inspired you to become a hairstylist? When I first went to school and started doing hair it was to be able to have a marketable skill, but the longer I’ve done it the more and more I’ve fallen in love with my career. The connections that I build with my clients and the ability to share their lives with them is what keeps me coming back. Sending them out into the world feeling good brings me so much joy.

2: How long have you been doing hair? 13 years!

3: Coffee or tea? I always want a morning coffee, but after that it’s tea for me!

4: If you weren’t a stylist, what would you be doing? Something in nature, that’s where my happy place is. I could see myself being a park ranger, or doing wildlife or nature conservation.

5: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? Sleeping in, a nice later breakfast or lunch, some kind of exercise, time with friends, and time in nature.

6: One fun fact most people don’t know? I used to work as an extra in film and television.

7: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Everywhere! I love to travel, and want to go as many places as I can get to in my lifetime. A big bucket list one for me would be an African safari.

8: Favorite service to do in the salon? Balayage and short cuts are two of my favorites!

9: Do you like color, cuts, or styling most? Color is my favorite to do.

10: What’s your zodiac sign? I’m a Gemini! With double Capricorn moon and rising.

11: Your proudest moment as a stylist? Anytime I get to connect deeply with my clients. For me my job is more about human connection than it is hair. Sharing time and space with the people in my chair, and really seeing them in all aspects and phases of their life makes me feel so grateful. It’s such a special thing.

I can’t properly put into words how much I love these humans. It’s hard to describe the feeling of finding a group of friends that are your family and make you feel loved even when you don’t love yourself. The struggles are real and the horrors persist but with this group at my side I can do anything. Love you all, can’t wait to do it again next year. #hatman #iambatman #kneevis #motorman #wereonaboat #pastamountain
