You’ve never seen a GRWM like this. I didn’t just put this outfit on… I made it from scratch! As a fashion designer, every look starts at the sketch, not the closet. So today, I’m taking you behind the seams as I get ready for the @fginyc Members Meet-Up at @jmclaughlin! #GRWMDesignerEdition #GRWM #FashionDesigner #ConnectionsMatter #NetworkingOutfit #OOTN #contentcreator2025 #fyp

What if your outfit could tell your story? For ALMS Career Day, I wanted to show students that fashion is more than just clothes—it’s a form of self-expression. So, I created this moodboard blazer, a wearable collage of my inspirations, designs, and creative vision. Just like this blazer represents pieces of my story, everything you create is a reflection of YOU. Whether it’s fashion, art, or business, your voice and vision matter. If you could design a piece that represents YOU, what would be on it? Let me know in the comments!

Rochester, you’ve been my greatest teacher. You’ve been both the calm and the storm, the familiar and the unknown. From the very first brush with art to the unfolding of my dreams in fashion, this city has been my playground, my classroom, and my canvas. It’s here that I learned the true value of grit—how to build from the ground up, how to refine my craft, and how to rise after every fall. In these streets, I found both friends who cheered me on and those who didn’t understand my vision, but each lesson shaped the designer, leader, and woman I am today. You’ve taught me that comfort zones are meant to be broken. That growth doesn’t happen when you stay in the same place, and that finding your true audience means connecting with those who believe in your purpose, not just your product. I’m grateful for the relationships built here, the love shared, the lessons learned, and the moments that pushed me to rise higher. The journey continues, and with each new step, I carry the strength, resilience, and spirit of this place with me. Thank you, Rochester. You’ve made me who I am, and I’ll carry you with me wherever I go. The future is wide open, and I’m ready to meet it with the same fierce determination this city instilled in me. 💫 #ErinNesmithOfficial #NextChapter #RochesterNY #Hometown

It was such an honor to attend @buffaloblacknursesinc All Black Nurses Gala last night as a guest of my client. Huge congratulations to her for passing her boards and officially adding “RN” to her name! It was a truly inspiring evening, celebrating and awarding Black nurses for their hard work, dedication, and impact. Congratulations to all the nurses and aspiring nurses currently pursuing this journey—it’s not for the weak, it takes real commitment and resilience to push through these challenging programs. If you know someone in nursing school or are in it yourself, you know the strength it demands. Shout out to each of you for your dedication to helping others and making a difference!

Remember, no one can close a door that God has opened for you! The flowers blooming today come from seeds planted months or even years ago. This outfit was inspired by my favorite flower, the Calla lily. Known for its unique beauty and symbolism of transformation and rebirth, it deeply resonates with me. Earlier this year, I designed a Calla lily-inspired outfit for a speaking engagement, celebrating a significant milestone in my journey. The Tamron Hall show was another transformative experience, one I know will give rise to even more blessings and opportunities. With this suit, I sought to channel that same energy, embodying the beauty, elegance, and transformative power of the Calla lily.

Recently, I had the privilege of visiting the Swiss Parliament, where I engaged with senior officials on critical foreign affairs topics. As I pursue my studies in international relations with a minor in global political economics, my commitment to gender rights and economic development for women is integral to my journey. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on empowering women through fashion and art, creating platforms that enable them to express their individuality and build confidence. Now I would like to expand on my role in women’s empowerment. I firmly believe that economic empowerment is crucial for creating gender equality, and my studies provide me with the knowledge and tools to advocate for policies and initiatives that support women’s economic advancement globally. Fashion will always remain at the core of my brand, serving as a transformative force for empowerment and advocacy.

Recently I attended the Global Summit of Women, an annual international gathering led by the remarkable Irene Natividad. Irene Natividad is a visionary and connector of worlds, bringing together individuals from all over with a common mission: to advance women’s economic opportunities and leadership globally. Before the event, we were honored to have the U.S. Ambassador to Spain, Julissa Reynoso, host us at the embassy for an outdoor reception on the patio. Her hospitality created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for engaging conversations and networking opportunities. I also want to highlight the contributions of Kat Fotovat, who plays a significant role in advancing gender equality & rights here in the US and globally. Her passion and commitment serve as an example for all of us striving for a more inclusive world. It was an unforgettable experience, thanks to these incredible individuals and the entire team at the Global Summit of Women for their tireless efforts in coordinating an amazing summit. Here’s to continuing the momentum towards a more gender-balanced society. Join the conversation! #GSW2024 #WomensEmpowerment More photos and recap to come!

Recently I got the opportunity to be a keynote speaker at the @the_influential_woman New Year, New You Expo, where we explored the importance of self-care, work-life balance, and showing up as our best selves while still being fashionable. For me, self-care isn’t just about pampering; it’s prioritizing my mental and physical well-being, as well as finding solace in nature’s embrace. There’s something transformative about being in the mountains, pushing through challenges, and conquering those inner doubts. The mental fortitude and physical resilience required to reach the summit mirror the resilience needed to overcome life’s obstacles. Whether it’s hiking, diving, or riding horses, these experiences fuel my courage and determination to face any challenges head-on. I carry this same spirit into my daily life, confronting obstacles with unwavering determination and courage. It’s about proving to myself that I’m capable of anything, whether it’s scaling a mountain or navigating life’s twists and turns. Prioritizing my mental health and physical well-being is essential, as it shapes how I show up in the world. Exercise isn’t just about physical fitness; it’s a journey of self-discovery, cultivating confidence and resilience. It’s about recognizing our strength and capabilities, regardless of the path we choose. And when fashion and style merge with this unwavering spirit, we become unstoppable forces. So I encourage you to GET UP and SHOW UP in all aspects of your life!! #InfluentialWoman #RochesterWomanOnline #KeynoteSpeaker #FashionDesigner #WomensEmpowerment #Selfcare
