Happy New Year 2024 from our family to yours!

We laughed.
We cried.
We forgave.
We made changes.
We sang & danced.
We overcame challenges.
We appreciated those who walked with us in our journey.

We're grateful for the lessons in 2023 that we've been blessed with. We're grateful for our family, friends, clients, leaders, & teammates who have enriched our lives for the better.

Wishing you and your family a new year filled with true joy, renewed spirit of peace, meaningful moments, & abundant blessings. 🥰

Spent a splendid day in Calabasas with @ernablooms of @curiousmorphologie today. A late brunch, cookies from @lovisdeli and some photo fun makes for a perfect afternoon.

Grateful for Thanksgiving feast with the family!

In preparing this special meal, sometimes things didn't go exactly how we planned it, but they came together beautifully. So as life! It is not about perfection! It's about enjoying the process and ongoing learning for growth. Thankful for the life lessons we've been blessed with this year & many years to come.

We lived in a California Castle! (No really, that’s the Airbnb name.)🏰😁

Us gals stayed in a HUGE storybook mansion. A California house in the hills!🌟An epic @airbnb for a 2-day in-person retreat with enough room for hosting on the second floor - 2 kitchens, a dining room, conference room, living room, bar, bathroom, bedroom, study, and outside courtyard. (I feel like I’m missing a room up there...)

Then, on the first and third levels (for when the retreat participants went home), us friends occupied one of the six bedrooms - each with our own bathrooms. 🤩 (BTW, one of the 6 bedrooms was a full-on apartment with 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, laundry room, bathroom, and kitchen! So technically, there were 7 bedrooms total.)

🗝️There was even a secret room. Reminded me of a Harry Potter book!

And my favorite part? Not one, but THREE kitchens! I was able to run food service out of and work in as my own for a few days!👩🏾‍🍳

Just back from an incredible experience in San Diego! 🌷💫

I had no idea what to expect when I visited my friend @jaleh_zandieh, who was hosting an event with her friend @kavitasinghtoday

I didn’t ask the full scope of what she was doing or who was going to be there. I just knew I had to be there because it was important to her! 💖

And of course it turned out to be quite a remarkable experience & not just for me - but for so many people!

Jaleh and her friend Kavita (also my new friend!) hosted a 2-day in-person retreat. There were breakthroughs, tears, love, life, lessons, & laughter that filled the rooms.❤️

I showed up & found my zone of genius in the kitchen! 👩🏾‍🍳 And because we were in a mansion (a HUGE house in the California hills!) I had 3 kitchens in the house to work out of and call my own for a few days. 🌟🤩 Watch till the end to see what I created while there!

🛬 When I arrived in San Diego to visit my friend @jaleh_zandieh, who was hosting an event in town from Portugal, I really had no idea what I was in for!

Together with three other ladies, we drove and flew in to help with the event, and we called ourselves the “Cool Cats” because we arrived with the same agility and adaptability as a cat! 🐈‍⬛ So I bought us all cat mugs to commemorate our name! 😻🫶🏾

And indeed, we were a bunch of 5 fem feline Cool Cats over the next few days. Working as a media & production team, event organizers, planners, and private catering, we helped our two friends in whatever capacity they needed us to exceptionally execute a 2-day in-person retreat! 🎥🍸

I started in media & production, then quickly moved up to running the 3 kitchens, LOL!😆

The celebration continued...

We surprised Lei with tickets to the musical "Six". We had a blast!! Special shoutout to my amazing Twin Sis Erna for taking care of our son so we could have a date night with Lei. Thank you, Erna!

We also visited LA Zoo today. Lei got to hang out with her good friend without us. It's a great chance to take our boy around the zoo. Glad that we got some exercise in walking around all day..
