Remember when I went to @faustwines ? Probably not so here is a visual reminder of how pretty it is AND an invitation to join me in Napa next Saturday afternoon June 5th for wine and snacks and hanging out IRL with humans! I’ll put the invite details in my Story and— friends new and old, just send me a DM if you are planning to come and you will be my guest (no 💰). We are staying up in the valley somewhere beautiful and new so I will have more to report on that coming up. Croatia! I shot this on film a long time ago on assignment and had miss @edenbatki with me and we are going back late summer! I also had my favorite fish dish every night in town there that I have never had since and I am going to go find it. It’s the first @tinyatlasquarterly trip in years - happening in September. We sent the link first to people who DM’d interest and will launch the link later this weekend to the wider audience with the hopes of selling out and filling out the final itinerary in the next two weeks. This is a last minute project, but it sure feels good to plan something for the community again. Since our first trip many years ago @edenbatki became an amazing chef and producer and now COVID officer so she is the trip superpower. Let me know if you want the pre-book link if you didn’t get it. We have to hustle on deposits to confirm beautiful homes/villas on the outer islands. July and August are super booked in Croatia right now for any larger group but our dates (sept 1-8th) still have availability though we are hustling to get gorgeous accommodations finalized. Good morning! Pardon the non-Hawaii content here, but we made another beautiful little thing for you at @tinyatlasquarterly with @clarksonpotter @pottergift @penguinrandomhouse that are available and shipping and in stores now- a beautiful set of 50 (50!!) postcards of coastlines around the world. I’m working on a series to share all of the photographers in the box set. All the photogs should all have a set too, so hopefully you will see some posts popping up of their sets and focus on their images too. This box series is sort of a bridge between our #mytinyatlas book and journal that are out already, and our next book which is coming early next year. That book with @tenspeedpress is all about the themes of our coastlines with a sub-theme of sustainability and small (or large) actions you can personally take. These cards are a kind of square rectangle, matte and super thick. A really nice gift for under $20 and also very affordable wall art as well as, you know, postcards you can mail with stamps. I hope you are all staying welll, getting vaccinated, traveling locally or further with care for yourself and any communities you visit. More Hawaii as usual on Story. (If you are just seeing my feed for the first time, we have been living here most of the winter and doing remote work and school -5:50am start time currently- from here since our kiddo (and many of yours 😳) has not had a day of in-person school in over a year while a nice couple is living in our house with our kitty.) update - have a link for them in my bio!

So nice to meet IG friends IRL! What a gem of a lady, I look forward to exploring outdoors more with you @elanaloo and @aaronhaynes - I did remember to lug books back to giveaway to friends too as it is not easy to get things here. Elana mentioned yesterday that she had bought and still has our first/only print magazine edition too from 2012 which is so cool!! Maybe it means something that I shot it on the Big Island around the corner from where we have been living this winter... #mytinyatlas book has never looked so good Elana, you may have another career available as a hand model.

Coming next month! We made a #mytinyatlas book companion journal (book 1 that is- book 2 coming later with @tenspeedpress ). The journal has photography tips throughout and it is available everywhere books are sold next month. I put up the link if you want to see/preorder or send to your favorite local shop to stock(even better). I’ll definitely do some fun giveaways too. Need to plan that I guess. The photo tips are very easy and straightforward but come from 20+ years of experience shooting on location so hopefully you will find them helpful, especially if you are wanting to improve or enjoy your own daily photography more. The guide is with @clarksonpotter also part of @penguinrandomhouse

We took the party outside since it was such a beautiful afternoon! So good to see so many friends yesterday celebrating our @tinyatlasquarterly #mytinyatlas book @theassemblysf thank you! Huge thanks to @ripen.co for the most beautiful #gatheringboards to @raftwines by @duckdaughterjj for delicious wines to @marigold_sf for the gorgeous flowers and @maprepublic for the pretty world maps with pins. Thank you @nomadic_habit For coming up and all your help, @debhearey and Anabel for planning all this with me, Jen R for all the support and all the book and TAQ contributing photographers who came out. Nice to meet new folks too and the wonderful community from the The Assembly.

Take your baby to work day 😂 - such an inspiring morning @the.wing and with a mom community lunch/round table. All the women I just met are so incredible- running businesses, being anesthesiologists, helping others, being moms and partners all at the same time- I work out of my home often but it is amazing to see this community of women IRL. #mytinyatlas
