Introducing our sweet Artemis Rathburn Shelton! Born in Munich March 16, 2023 at 9:52 am.

It’s been almost a month of having her in our life and while the sleep is scarce the love is not. Loving her feels so familiar and yet so vast and deep it’s difficult to fathom.

I have such gratitude too for amazing care I received from my hospital and birth team. Labor was long and difficult but the birth was calm and beautiful. And we have both been recovering very well.

Here are a few of my favorite moments from the last month. Most of them captured by her papa @eshelton who has loved us and taken care of us so well in this tender and intense postpartum time.

My husband and I dress as the same thing every year. He is jack skellington and I am a witch. My supremely witch mask (good anytime of the year) is from @cri_ben_fatti .

Halloween a few years ago, video courtesy of @eliot_spaulding_blair. We won’t be doing this this year, just seeing this many people in an indoor space stresses me out 😂. But we were looking awfully festive!

Also, If you don’t already follow @eliot_spaulding_blair you should! She is an amazing artist as is represented in this video by the ET she made out of cardboard!
