POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Two things happened on this day. I’ll tell you the first one now, and the second one another day.

It all started when I received a call a week prior to come and open a bridal shower with prayer.

In that moment, I thanked God for the opportunity. Who am I, and who is my house, that I would be called for such an occasion. This is the beginning of a marriage journey for a lady who holds such a special place in my heart.

I began praying about this gathering immediately because, although it was “just an opening prayer,” to some , I saw it differently. It was God giving me an opportunity to step into a position where He could use me.

The day came, and the moment to pray arose. I did what I was called there to do.

Right after that moment of prayer, pure and genuine conversations began to unfold. And as the conversations were going on, in my spirit I was just thanking God and saying, “Wow, God! So this was the moment You needed to do Your perfect work?”

I realized what God really wanted to do.

Nothing happens randomly. God had it all planned out, and I was simply an instrument He chose to use.

This very conversation, this very gathering, became an opportunity to bring glory to God and draw His people closer to Him.

was simply a fisher of men. Peter went out to catch fish, and Jesus gave him a greater assignment: “From now on you will catch men.” — Luke 5:10

I thought I was there simply to open the bridal shower with a prayer, but God had another purpose. I was there for the opening prayer, but God needed to open the life of another.

What looked like a simple assignment became an opportunity for God to do a deeper work and for him to use for His glory.

So, in all things, give thanks. We were made for His glory, and He can use every moment, every assignment, and every opportunity to bring glory to His name.

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

I Am A Watchman …

Part 2 will come soon

Thank you @esmejane233 for recording this and not even remembering it . God used you to tell his story .

One purpose.

To gather and pray.

became a moment in His presence.
