Food can be nourishing for the body and the soul 🍽️ A friend is going through a difficult time with her health, and we wanted to spread some joy by cooking her favorite cake together 🍰🤍

Cooking together is also a way to connect and another important element of being at your best ✨

Self-Coaching Questions:
Is there a new recipe I’ve been wanting to try?
Who can I ask to join me in making this nourishing meal?
Who can we invite to share it with us?

Intention Setting for Clarity in the New Year

The new year doesn’t need more pressure.

It needs presence.

Join us Sunday Jan 25th at 5pm for a 90 min guided workshop in Newport Beach.

This workshop is for anyone who feels called to begin the year with clarity instead of chaos,
with intuition instead of obligation,
with embodiment instead of overwhelm.

We’ll move beyond just vision boards and surface-level resolutions and into a gentle but clear, body-led approach to intention setting. You’ll be guided through a thoughtfully designed worksheet that helps you get clear on five core aspects of your life:

• Love — including self-love, relationships, boundaries, and connection
• Work — how you want to show up, contribute, and feel fulfilled

• Creativity — expression, inspiration, play, and creative flow

• Money — abundance, ease, worthiness, and energetic relationship with finances

• Home — your physical space, sense of safety, comfort, and belonging

Through guided reflection, subtle somatic practices, and intentional pauses, you’ll be invited to listen to what your nervous system, heart, and body are truly asking for in the year ahead.

This is not about doing more.

It’s about aligning with what actually matters.

Free Nervous System Reset Support for LA Wildfire Survivors and First Responders

The emotional and physical toll of being displaced by wildfires can leave your nervous system in a constant state of stress.

I would like to offer anyone displaced or any first responders dealing with the LA wildfires a Nervous System Reset session. This will help you find grounding and relief during this challenging time.

My approach is designed to calm your body’s fight-or-flight response, bringing you into a state of relaxation and balance. Through gentle therapies like craniosacral work, empathic energy healing, and breath-focused techniques, we help you:

• Release physical and emotional tension
• Improve sleep and focus
• Restore a sense of safety and peace

Whether you’re processing trauma, dealing with heightened anxiety, or simply seeking a moment of comfort, I will meet you where you are.

This is a free session to support wildfire survivors and first responders staying in OC. January 18th and 19th only.

For more information or to book a session, visit www.a180lifewellnessstudio.com or DM me.

Disclaimer- This is a free session, you will have to enter a CC number to hold the spot but you will NOT be charged even if you have to cancel. 🙏💕

Some things I know this week:

3:00 lunch at the table is the sunniest - salad and popcorn

I’ve worn this blue jumper every day this week and instead of thinking I’m gross, I’ve decided to think I’m lucky

Spent a morning around metabolizing anger/shame/fear/sadness with @carolineckaufmann on Friday and am reminded that when I make space for hard feelings, they surface (since they’re already there), and I’d rather not. Because it’s hard.

Hard doesn’t mean bad.

More people than I thought walk and run at 6:20 am.

In talking about marriage, in talking about getting a puppy, remembering easy isn’t the same as best. Some best is sooo hard. And so good.

Ripe nectarines - we should be lining up for these things.

🌟 On July 3, 2024, our keynote speaker, Vas Kypreos Preibe, captivated the audience with an inspiring address that resonated deeply. With a rich background as a competitive gymnast, Pilates instructor, and health coach, Vas is a seasoned educator of the body. Her journey in health and fitness is deeply rooted in her upbringing at Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church in Pasadena, California, where her mother, Maria Kypreos, has been a steadfast Philoptochos member, influencing Vas's commitment to the organization over many years.

💖 At the heart of Vas's message during the conference was a profound emphasis on self-care as foundational to effective caregiving. Vas articulated the importance of prioritizing personal well-being along with meeting others' needs. She demonstrated practical breathing techniques and underscored the significance of taking brief moments to center oneself and maintain good posture—essential practices for nurturing physical and emotional health.

Her engaging presentation encouraged attendees to participate actively in brief yet impactful breathing and movement exercises, fostering an atmosphere where each participant could consider their own physical needs within the supportive environment of Philoptochos. @eso_transform_within
