We are pleased to include this beautiful and heartfelt new work in our viewing room by Brooklyn-based painter, Ester Curini.

The artists writes,
“I’ve always loved ravens.

When I painted this piece, I imagined Monument Valley reflected in their eyes. The reds and golds of the desert became part of their gaze, as if the landscape itself had settled within them.

More than anything, though, I wanted to capture something simple: the comfort of being seen by another living being.🖤🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🌵”

Our newest @artsy online exclusive show “The Working Land” has begun!

Across 21 works, the exhibition moves between quiet observation and physical immediacy: the bend of a body over a furrow, the stillness of livestock at rest, the sweep of open fields under changing light. Rather than romanticizing rural life, the work considers farming as it actually is: demanding, seasonal, and deeply tied to place.

The exhibition spans multiple media, reflecting the range of ways contemporary artists engage with agricultural subject matter, from the tactile immediacy of sculpture and collage to the sustained attention of paint on canvas.

As we enter our final week of our exhibition, Remarkable Precision: Photorealism & Beyond, we are greeted on our front entrance feature wall by Ester Curini’s large-scale painting, “Radiant” which depicts a striking and powerful portrait of a mountain lion. Curini writes, “Mountain lions, also known as cougars and pumas, represent some of the most majestic and fascinating creatures in North America. Their conservation is crucial for maintaining ecological balance. I dedicated several months to creating this painting reflecting my passion for raising awareness about these magnificent animals.”
