Part 1: Friends on film in houses of the holy from special nights hosted by @dosidontcha 🛐💫

Definitely some sort of cosmic correlation of us all dancing behind these doors. The ability to leave it all at the threshold and be present by the pulpit (lol) but for real, documenting these feels alongside these adventures of fun has been the most rewarding endeavor in quite some time. People say I’m thriving in New York City, and they’re definitely correct. And it’s thanks to the people in these film frames, the nights that end in a slice of pizza and the hours spent planning, producing, problem solving and working together to piece together a space to create community. #familybusiness

Picture this: you open your closet and for once, you do not need to ruin your outfit with a fuckass Columbia jacket. The heaps of snow on the sidewalks have finally (mostly) melted away, and it’s a 50 degree night in the West Village. You introduce two women you deeply admire to each other — they get along instantly. Score!

This is the first of many martinis you will enjoy outdoors this year, and your heart is fluttering with warmth and optimism. The transfer from the F to the Q is all messed up, and three entire months of abstinence later, you are able to citibike back home while listening to the new Harry Styles album. It’s almost springtime in the city.

Bar Pisellino gets a solid 9/10 and the martinitimenyc stamp of approval 🍸The drinks are beautiful, and so are the patrons.
