My love has designed a delightful new scarf, and it's published today in @knittymag

Amazingly, as always with patterns in Knitty, the designer was paid (@estregger), the pattern is professionally tech-edited (no AI crap here! Thanks to @kateatherleyknits for her editing skills), and the pattern is FREE!

And it's knit in gobsmacked yarn, naturally! Two skeins of Fuzz (mohair/ silk lace).

All the book models are makers just like you, and not professional models. This means that all the photos of people in the book, showing sweaters, and what fit techniques look like are shown on:
🧶bodies of various shapes and sizes
🧜🏼‍♀️bodies of different abilities
🌈 a range of genders (because fitting doesn’t need to be gendered and my techniques work for all)
🧶 makers who made their own sweaters, or gave me the opportunity to learn new techniques for the book

My mother always used to say, “It’ll make a great story to tell the grandkids.” Came up about a half meter short — and I kinda like it this way. Proud that I’ve brought out the scale. ⚖️ I’m a frequent yarn chicken-er, but with 385-stitch rows, I’d rather be safe than sorry. 🐣 The subtlety of @gobsmackedyarn color shifts with @meadowyarn tonal in these loooong rows is so beautiful!
