How do you shift a landscape business built on construction toward recurring maintenance revenue? Is that shift even worth it? 👀

On 9/18 at 12PM CT, Sam Rankin (ETCH Outdoor Living) brings that exact challenge to a live Member-Driven Case with ACE Facilitators Megan Parker & Michael Bosco. This happens every time an ACE Peer Group meets — this time, you get to weigh in.

Free to join. Link in bio.

ACE Domination gathered in Welch, MN, for a site visit to Minnesota Sodding Company, and Tom and Dana Groh showed us what happens when you make your employees happy — you make your business thrive! ⚾🌱

Here's what stuck with us: their org chart uses employee baseball cards. They're collecting their team like all-stars because that's exactly what they are.

The culture focus:
The group’s Start Stop Keep exercise found that MSC’s investment in team shone above the rest. Their equipment investments increase overall team efficiency and proof of upward mobility creates long-term tenure. When your people know they can grow, they stay and they perform.

Keep making people happy. The rest follows! 🙌

Every day throws something new at you. Equipment breaks, schedules change, people call out. You can’t control that. What you can control is having your jobs, numbers, and team on the same page so problems don’t stack on top of each other. That’s where SynkedUP steps in. 🤜🤛

Matthews Landscape & Pest brought the personality — and then some — as they hosted ACE Domination's first peer group meeting of the year in Shreveport, LA!

From Elvis fun facts and core values champions to creative team building and genuine Louisiana hospitality, this crew showed us what it means to build a culture that's knowledgeable, trustworthy, dedicated, and fun.

There's nothing quite like visiting another facility to spark fresh ideas. Walking through their operations, seeing their accountability chart in action, and experiencing their unique culture first hand gave everyone in the group actionable takeaways to bring back home. And for Matthews? Hosting pushed them to showcase their best practices while gaining valuable outside perspectives on what's working — and what could work even better. Peer learning at its finest!

Been using @techobloc for almost a decade.
Love the product - but this one hurt a little.
We re-did a customer’s Travertina pool deck, bought what was labeled the same color, same product... except it wasn’t. Turns out the mix changed, and no one told us. The “new” Travertina will stay white forever, while the old one weathers naturally.
We took care of our client (like always) and ate over $10K in costs doing the right thing.
Techo’s response? “10% off your next two projects.”
That’s like dropping someone’s ice cream and offering them a coupon for their next cone.
Still love Techo-Bloc, but communication matters - especially when contractors are out here standing behind your name every day.
See y’all at #HNA2025 - stop by the booth, I might have this letter taped to the wall.
