🚨 CHEESE ALERT! 🚨

Gerry took over today’s #WalkAboutWithLex at Underpass Park and Steve at Fifth Town Cheese issued a Cheese Alert.

Obviously he had to investigate.

The new crumbly ricotta? Amazing. Cheese Alert deserved.

Meanwhile, Gerry found:
🍨 Lulu Gelato and their small cart
☕ Mi Mi and Vietnamese coffee
🥟 The Nepali momo folks are BACK
🪧 Bitter Better Canada showing off some great new signage
😂 And, naturally, plenty of banter along the way.

And back at our table, today’s samples are:
🌿 Danforth Greek
🥑 Spicy Guacamole
🌮 Birria Taco
🍖 Hogtown Sweet

We’re at Underpass Park until 7:30 tonight, so come taste some spices, investigate the market and, apparently, respond to important cheese emergencies.

Can’t make it tonight? We’re back on Thursday, August 27

📍 Underpass Park, 29 Lower River St., Toronto

I always find our charcoal soap so impressive! Just a tiny drop of water, and it springs into a lovely foam right away. Plus, its bright, white lather means you'll never have to worry about charcoal stains in your sink or shower.

There is nothing like a shower with this after a gym class or a match or two of your favourite sport.

The Charcoal Cleansing Soap is now available on our website. We ship across Canada. Free delivery in Toronto (M4, M5 and M6 postal codes).

#WalkAboutWithLex is LIVE from the Underpass Farmers Market in Toronto — where the murals are giant, the food smells incredible, and the flavour inspiration is EVERYWHERE. 🌆🔥

We took a walk through the market so you can see what’s waiting for you tonight — amazing local vendors, handmade goods, fresh food, good music, and one of the coolest market spaces in the city.

And of course… spices are being sampled. 😏

If you’ve been stuck making the same few dinners on repeat lately, come by the booth and let me fix that for you. Whether you need:
🔥 a better chicken game
🔥 easier vegetables
🔥 popcorn seasoning ideas
🔥 BBQ help
🔥 dip inspiration
🔥 or “what do I even do with tofu?” answers…

…I’ve got you.

We have a new body butter! Welcome 🌿 Cedar Bergamot 🍊

Scented with Bergamot, Cedarwood, and a warm hint of Vanilla, it carries a grounding yet bright aroma, woody and citrusy with a soft, lingering depth. Arrowroot powder gives it a natural, non-greasy finish so your skin feels silky, not oily.

It comes in a metal screw-top tin designed to live on beyond a single use. Refill it, repurpose it, or recycle it. Packaging that's as thoughtful as the product inside.

Available now in two sizes: 70g (4oz) and 150g (8oz).
