kenya. part four. a place the Lord has broken my heart for over + over. + a place a Jesus has allowed me to experience His character in a really beautiful way.
as i’ve gone back, i feel as if Jesus has so graciously allowed me to see kenya more + more through His eyes. a people who are hungry for a move of the Spirit + the love of God. a people willing to live a bold faith despite persecution. a people who carry the joy of the Lord that cannot be taken away. a people who are solely dependent on the One who created dependency.
+ although there are many who know Jesus, my heart breaks for those who have still yet to know Him, as there are many as well. how can Jesus be so evident + saturated in one place, while at the same time be so unknown? there’s work to do in kenya + there’s work to do at home. the harvest is ready + we have to go!
thank you, Jesus, for allowing me to get a glimpse of what Your eyes get to see everyday. for allowing me to be Your hands and feet in what feels like my second home. to have my heart broken for what breaks Yours.
there’s so much more i could say, but this is where i’ll leave it for now. the Lord is moving in kenya.
