Can’t think of a better way to spend Juneteenth than being able to stretch out and bang the box on a system like Good Room’s! Full set is up now on SoundCloud 🫀 major props to @itsaliese and @eto.ano for putting together such a well-curated night ! Everybody killed it

Full track list at the end. Also the beginning of the set is cut from the recording due to copyright stuff (RIP)

This spring was all about perseverance and endurance. Some real BS happened and #They tried to break us but we only got thru stronger and wiser. Jokes on them #Vibeistan will never fall as long as we have each other
Let us dance about all of it. Hope to see you there 🫂💜

dj cowriiie (@djcowriiie) (aka KeiyaA) joins us in the main room at Good Room for @darkerthanwax x @eto.ano Thanksgiving eve. (11/26).

Chicago-born singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer KeiyaA has been a breakout R&B star since the release of her brilliant 2020 record, ‘Forever, Ya Girl.’ Her sophomore album ‘hooke’s law’, which was released on XL Recordings last month, “folds her club influences into a story of grief that’s as moving as it is fun” (Resident Advisor). Earlier this year, KeiyaA released another project titled ‘midnight EP’, under her moniker - dj cowriiie - that, alongside a monthly Lot Radio residency, is a direct statement of her love for club music, particularly Chicago’s own footwork genre. As dj cowriiie, KeiyaA’s knack for groove, daring musical choices, and referencing regional music that make up the musical diaspora is assuredly showcased. Come spend your Friendsgiving with us - secure that early birds via RA!

@darkerthanwax x @eto.ano this Wednesday for their Thanksgiving Eve party. Joining Marco Weibel in the good room is Spurge (@itsaliese).

DJ and musician, Spurge deejays in a dialectical fashion - weaving opposing elements together to construct a singular, narrative experience - honoring the practice of storytelling through selection in tandem with the sport-like aspects of DJing. His style of mixing audaciously blends genre - jumping from dancehall to rock, techno, electro, disco, house, to dub, hip hop, ambient...all in service of the story of the set. His Mix 4 Sanea ~ Safe and Sound NYC or his 2020 mix for Pond Mag are great examples of this. Spurge’s musical voice is bolstered by a decade in New York nightlife. He’s played at institutions like Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Public Records, Nowadays, and has been involved in projects such as The Lot Radio (2016 to 2020), Captured Tracks Record Shop (2021), and Resident Advisor (2018 to 2020). His versatility as a DJ is further demonstrated through bookings outside of the club for entities like Ace Hotel, Eavesdrop, NTS, Soho House, and Something Special Studios, as well as international bookings like Mitsuki (Tokyo), Offtrack (Singapore), and Super Rayo (Bogotá). Spurge releases music through his imprint label Eto Ano. His curation of the label emphasizes his prowess as a selector, illustrated through releases like Pearly - Silver Of The Mirror (Remixes) and No Cash in Booth: A Compilation by Eto Ano (Supporting Decriminalizing the MTA). Through Eto Ano, Spurge maintains a research-based monthly residency on The Lot Radio where he aggregates musicians’/labels’ discographies to create entry points into their work for listeners. Additionally, Eto Ano throws parties that always go off.

See you Wednesday 🦃
