I used to hate flying. But God has blessed me with peace in my travels so that I can go and do. I’m so grateful for this experience I had in Texas with my parents this last weekend!

#justserve #churchofjesuschristoflatterdaysaints #catholiccharities #sisters❤️ #reliefsociety this Southwest Regional Conference for Women was what my soul needed: music, service, reunions with friends from the past and new friends, faces and laughter and inspiration to realize my purpose in life and that God does have individual missions for each of us- we need to seek His guidance. It was what my soul needed. It was so fun to connect and see sisters from Keller and Sherman and Austin and Prosper, McKinney and Tyler Texas and all over! They said 6k people registered and maybe just a portion of that came. Thank you to all who helped! I didn’t get pics of everyone - phone died …. The amazing thing is I didn’t even see people I knew would be there and I saw people that I wasn’t expecting to see there! It helped me reflect on my own life and the people who touched my life and vice versa. It’s been amazing to remember that. It was so updating to unite in song with an arena and sing: I know that my redeemer lives.🎶

Whatever season you are in right now.
You were MADE for such a time as this. ✨

God is sometimes backstage.
But He never leaves the scene.

Thats what I learned from Esther this time around.

At the most inconvenient time,
When her life was the most stressful,
The least in her control,
That’s when Esther was asked to enter stage left and arrive center stage.
Full spotlight—For such a time as this.

This made me think of my favorite line from Elder Kearon’s talk.
When facing something he felt unqualified for he said:
“Luckily a little grace interceded.”

Isn’t that a beautiful way of describing those moments where we find Christ in the middle of our story?

The scriptures are full of these moments.

Bro of Jared: a little grace intervened—
wind blowing his boat
Jonah: little grace intervened (even while heading the WRONG WAY)—
a whale.
Joseph Smith: a little grace intervened—
a needed scripture.
Ruth: a little grace intervened—
she happened upon Boaz’ field.

It happened to Esther too.
She prayed. Fasted. She acted.
And then Grace interceded.

The sleepless king read the chronicles and remembered Esther’s uncle’s heroic deed.

Esther didn’t know that moment happened.

In all her careful planning, she didn’t plan for it. She didn’t account for it.
But she planned and accounted for God to provide. And He did. Softening the king’s heart. Bringing something to his mind.

Pushing the plot ever forward.

When we are about God’s work, there are no coincidences.
And even when we don’t see Him front and center, we can feel His Hand directing the work backstage.

May we be like Esther.
Having the humility to pray. The faith to act.
And continually expecting grace to intercede.

“The gospel of Jesus Christ is truly the ‘good news of great joy’! It is a message of matchless hope! A message of yoke-bearing and burden-lifting. Of light-gathering. Of heavenly favor, higher understanding, holier covenants, eternal security, and everlasting glory!

Joy is the very purpose of God’s plan for His children. It’s what you were created for—‘that [you] might have joy’! You were built for this!”
—President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

We were never meant to fight our battles alone. God wants to fight with us and for us.
As we sincerely strive to keep our covenants, we can seek and expect His miracles in our lives.
