✨⭐️TALENT PERFORMANCE⭐️✨
CAPITAL PRIDE PAGEANT

This talent number embodies exactly who I am as a drag performer.. it’s campy, dramatic, ridiculous, and SO much stupid.✨⭐️

A huge, huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this little fever dream to life. I truly couldn’t have done it without you! 💖

✨AliExpress✨, thank you for the corset and reveal coat. You may have tested my patience, my faith, and my shipping anxiety… but you delivered. Literally. 💀📦

And to my lovely dancers @mattbarr97, @evaa.huppe & @cloudy_creator THANK YOU. You took my vision and brought it to life in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Thank you for trusting me and throwing yourselves into the madness. I love you three! 🥹✨

RYANN! @ryrymciver Thank you SO much for listening to me, trusting me, challenging me, and executing this absolutely wonderful masterpiece you created. Our brains together somehow managed to produce the most beautifully, fabulously ridiculous script, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. You are such a powerhouse of creativity and I’m so lucky I got to make this with you. Truly, our collective brain cell deserves a trophy of its own. 🏆😭

And thank you to our amazing judges @yovska @_thesukidoll & @hercusleaze for taking the time to be there and make such a special night even more special. 💫

My heart is FULL. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. 💖✨

How do we blend my favourite drag elements of stupid, sexy, sincere, and sociopolitical into one performance? I think I managed to check all the boxes with this one! ✔️

Drag is art and art is political, especially when it pretends not to be. On the Main Stage at Pride this year, I wanted to engage with the conversation about what Pride should or should not be. When bad-faith actors are attacking our communities, we cannot afford to leave any of us behind. Be loud, proud, and unpalatable, lest you lose the muscle it takes to stand up for what you believe in when it counts (anarchical calisthenics, anyone?).

Not everyone's activism can take the form of marching in the streets (nor should it!). But everyone can do something valuable. Write your MPs and MPPs, sign petitions, stay informed on a few key issues that are important to you, have meaningful conversations with your family, colleagues, and friends about those issues, remain in solidarity with those who share your values, don't lift the ladder up behind you when you gain an ounce of progress for your pet issues, and VOTE! Especially in the upcoming municipal elections. So many of your day-to-day issues are most directly impacted by your municipal government. Research your candidates, and hold them accountable in the voting booth (and by being in their inbox the other 364 days a year).

Thank you to @iiifeee for choreographing this performance (especially through all the roadblocks we hit unexpectedly!) and to @evaa.huppe and @mojo_wg for dancing with me Saturday and Sunday 💜 Let's get more femmes on the Main Stage, please? 🫧 Y'all were amazing.

Thank you to @the.opalessence for making my corset, skirt, and bodysuit for this show ✨️

Thank you to @fiertecappride for letting me perform on the Main Stage both days!

And thank you to @natashagriffin.drag for the video!

Were you in the crowd? Did you manage to catch a condom or a receipt? 👀 The receipts had over 85ft of political slogans I wrote by hand. It was very cool to see some folks holding them up for the rest of the performance in solidarity 🌈

Moth meets lamp 💡

This beautiful human was such an absolute joy to work with and so incredibly talented. What took me 2 weeks to learn, took her 2 minutes. To say my flabbers were ghasted is an understatement.

Thank you for everything! You helped make this moment one that I will never forget! ❤️
