FAKE ESCAPE... JUST ANNOUNCED! ATHINA B @rise_athina_b Named for a Brighton shipwreck and a fragment of a Slum of Legs lyric, Athina B are a band playing from the liminal spaces - capturing the sounds of twilight, halfway between dream and memory where birds are caught mid-flight, lit by a setting sun. If ya into Dirty Three, Laurie Anderson, Lau nau, Haress, Kronos Quartet... you gunna dig it! SHIT CREEK @shit.creek.art Working in experimental and improvised music for upwards of a decade, Lew Duffyโ€™s manic project Shit Creek rarely settles long on a single sound palette. Fresh off performing at Colour Out Of Space 9, sheโ€™s currently exploring themes of desire and lack in maximalist, joyful sample sculptures. FAULT THROWER Fault Thrower is a duo of James Parsons on drums and Al Strachan on electronics and cornet, playing music that leans on the wild side of improv, but always with an instinct for following melodic and rhythmic tangents as and when they turn up! @astrachan69 Come network your eyesballs out! FAKE ESCAPE 2026 at The Rose Hill SATURDAY 16 MAY 2026 | 7PM | suggested ยฃ10 donation on the door if you can (all going to the artists!)ย  โ˜ž more info and lineup in the comments + LIB + stories โ˜œ ๐Ÿ› Slides...ย  1. So good for the soul to dip into @knickersclub last night. Big thanks to @johnleebird @thecosmicsomething for making things happen. Always the best mix of performers. Beautiful ethereal music from @evadneyyyy followed by the smiles & laughter I need so badly, thanks to @astroxology - appreciate you appreciating my enthusiasm over my old git energy!! Plus getting the shitty world politics in there too!! Spaces like this are so important.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our final special guest @evadneyyyy Evadney is a Brighton based sonic storyteller weaving emotion, memory, and energy into sound. Blending atmospheric textures with raw vulnerability, their music lives in the space between worldsโ€”where feeling becomes frequency. Each track is an invitation to drift inward and experience something both deeply personal and quietly universal.โ€จโ€จFollowing the release of three EPs, Evadney has steadily emerged as a distinctive presence on the UK music scene. His debut albumย Itโ€™s Dreaming, released in March 2026, marks a defining momentโ€”solidifying evadney as a bold and boundary-pushing new voice. Tickets available via @outsavvy or the link in our bio
