@evanestoner, a Nashville chocolate shop co-owner and influencer, has been more open about sharing her trauma online and in this interview with The Tennessean in hopes of raising awareness and money to battle child abuse.

It's a tough path for Stoner, who is usually low key and reserved in talking about her life challenges.

But Stoner more and more sees her past pain as a pathway to unlocking healing and help for others experiencing child abuse.

She is donating 50% of sales for a creme brulee chocolate bar at her Nashville store, Poppy & Peep, to Nashville nonprofit Our Kids for the remainder of April, which is Child Abuse Prevention Month.
