“Every time you try to move I just stand still, just to watch you pull away” ⚰️🪞

“Stand Still” is the third single from “Into The Ether,” our debut album out on Friday the 13th. It features our friend @drost.leah from @capturethis.band who has always been there to support us since the beginning of EDITH. We are all huge fans of Capture This and knew when we had the blue print for “Stand Still” that we needed Leah for it. She effortlessly transformed the track into the banger you know today and instantly made it one of our favorites on the album. We are forever grateful to have such an amazing scene full of incredible musicians that we get to call our friends. If y’all want to head another collab with an amazing Denver artist then listen to “Into The Ether” when it comes out 11/13! 🛸

“I dreamt you were in the walls last night and I couldn’t sleep a wink.” 🕷️🛏️🕸️

“Second Skin” is the second single from “Into The Ether,” our debut album coming out Friday the 13th. This song was a huge turning point for us and what eventually inspired us to lean into a more post-hardcore sound for this record. At the time we were simultaneously listening to a lot of bands like @thursdayband and @holyfawn as well as @frenchpoliceband and @drabmajesty and wanting to bring some of that dark, almost goth energy into a heavy post-hardcore sound. The lyrics for “Second Skin” are desperate, dark and about coming to crave abusive tendencies in a relationship. This type of songwriting became a staple for us in 2025 and led to the full album “Into The Ether.” 🖤🕷️🕸️

I've done a couple of these lil weekend trips to see the donut boys and I think this one might have been my absolutely favorite thus far. Incredible music every single night, beautiful scenery in Colorado, getting to meet new friends and see old ones... it was absolutely amazing. There were a few personal things that really dragged me down and I almost turned around and went home, but I think I was exactly where I needed to be.

Edith - y'all have such incredible energy and immaculate vibes and such killed music AND y'all are such lovely, genuine people. I'm so excited to see you play again!

Party Cove - absolute champions of making it happen even when shit goes wrong. Performances every night were still so solid, no one would have known how much y'all were dealing. Such fun sets every night.

Public Figure - even though you were only on the final night, I'm so glad I got to see y'all! Easily some of the best performers in the industry and I'm always so incredibly hyped when I get to see y'all. Cannottttt wait to jam all the new music.

And finally, my number ones forever, When The Sun Sets - I will never get tired of seeing you guys absolutely kill it on stage and immediately win over anyone who didn't already know you. I will always appreciate the love and kindness you guys show me and anyone else you meet. Seeing you guys is my happy place forever, love you guys always.

And also shoutout to concert homies, new and old. I'm very very happy and grateful for everyone I spent time with this weekend. Your presence in my life is something I will never take for granted 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
